We visited this restaurant with my partner earlier this month. We were on a weekend break in Poznan and after ages of trying to decide where we would like to go and eat on the square we have decided on a different restaurant and started heading towards it. On the way to the restaurant we have seen Valpolicella and have... More

Of all of the places at which we ate in Poznań, this one clearly stood out as being the very best. I had the Pizza, she had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. The quality of the food was excellent, I even got real Prosciutto on my pizza! All of the waiters we spoke to could speak English, everything was very keenly... More

I would recommend the shrimp starter and Cod main course. The sauces were super. Nice atmosphere if you arrive early and get a window table. Food is not cheap but reasonable for the Old Town. The service did let the place down. Although pleasant, plates were served at different times, leaving one of us looking at a meal but waiting... More

This is the best tratoria I've ever been (but to be honest, as far I haven't been in any original tratoria in Italy). The food is totally delicious. The service is nice but sometimes a bit scatterbrained. The place is rather dark but when you have a seat near the window the atmosphere is warm and delightful. The food is... More

Been in the last couple of years several times at Valpolicella and I like that they constantly in all this years delivered good service and excellent food. Last time I went there before Christmas and again all worked very well. Friendly staff, got the food fairly quick and it was very tasty, good choices of wines. My favorite is Filetto... More

Really good Italian cuisine. Everyone gets a complimentary starter of warm bread roll with delicious olive oil infused with garlic, basil and other herbs. The main course was served quickly and on hot plates. Although we only had lasagne with side salad and roasted vegetables, it was delicious and had been slow cooked in a stone oven. The service was... More

If you get your food almost (felt like..) instantly, that should catch your attention. We have ordered two different pastas, neither had any taste and felt like they was just put into microwave for 5mins. Sorry to say but even nice looking tables on the outaide haven't saved this place... never going back there again.

We were just walking around and found an empty outside table. The service was outstanding and the good OK. The mellon and ham was good but I don't think that ham was Prosciutto. My wife had Tagliatelle with which Spinach very good. My Spaghetti con Fruitti di Mare was good but I have had better.

This must be one of the best italian restaurants outside of Italy. Food is fantastic, portions are decent, great atmosphere, great service!! The lasagne is the best I've ever had! salads are fresh and pizza's divine. You must go if you visit Poznan.
