Could be better

The waitress spoke good English, which was good, because the menu was only available in Polish. I had roast duck on beans, followed by cheese cake. Tasty, but the duck hadn't been heated through evenly, and a small part was still cold. It didn't stop me finishing it though.

This is your brunch / dessert spot if you expect a great atmosphere and reasonable prices. The coffee is to die for.

Located close to the entrance to St Stanislaus Church, just off the Old Market Square (Stary Rynek). Myself and a friend visited in late December after watching the midday mechanical fighting billy goats appear at the Ratusz Poznanski town hall clock tower (simultaneously a trumpeter plays the towns traditional bugle call from an adjacent balcony) on the Old Market Square.... We visited this place for lunch. I was expecting bit more (for example some chicken dishes according the name of the place). I had salmon from the menu and colleague had daily meal. Food was nice, fulfilling but nothing special. I saw that desserts looks very nice.

Had dinner twice here and the experience was quite similar. This place looks so good and their garden is a true beauty. The menu also looks good but alas the food is flat and non creative. It does not match the intention given by the cosy interior. The wine selection is somewhat limited; red or white where the white is... More

We had both a lunch and a dinner at Cocorico. Food was fine both meals. Dinner in the garden is a must; it's a bucolic nest a block from the bustle of old town square. Service and décor very good. Don't miss Cocorico.

A delightful afternoon with delicious food, friendly staff, oodles of charm and a kid friendly vibe. The hydrangea filled garden setting is a hidden old town treasure, ideal for family gatherings. Children and their caprices were accommodated in a friendly and hospitable way. The vine was great and the food delicious. The veal pierogi and herring tartar are highly recommended... More

Cocorico has an amazing garden hidden from street view. It's really worth checking out. A true foodie, which I am not, would probably give a more apt description of Cocorico's fusion cuisine, but I can say that whatever their chef fused in the smoked filet of beef with grilled vegetables and peppercorn sauce was quite tasty.

This is THE place to go to for a romantic dinner in summer (reservation recommended). The small courtyard is shaded by a roof of vine branches, and they have Chinese lanterns hanging everywhere. The food is good but nothing special, it is all about the atmosphere.

The setting is wonderful - a tastefully decorated courtyard in a very atmospheric side street off the main square leading up to the imposing Fara church. Old-fashioned high quality service and presentation. The food was faultless traditional Polish brought up to date for 21st century. Very affordable for us coming from the UK with drinks, starters, mains and deserts coming... More
