Stopped here for a beer on the square before dinner, wait staff were very rude and unhelpful. But the beer was good and you can't beat the location.

Blink and you'd miss this place as you have to walk down the stairs to enter Spiz. Great real ales, the dark is the Polish equivalent of our Mild in the UK. God its nice, even better when you get a Litre steiner to drink out of. Very lively beer so be patient as they pour your drink. You'll notice... More

All kinds of home brewed beer. Food is little overpriced. Nice place to drink beer with friends with a great view on Rynok Square

Pros: 1/ various taste of beers brewed in place: cherry, white, carmel, dunkel 2/ large outdoor seating, with view at Main Square [Rynek] 3/ good traditional Polish food served in the basement restaurant Cons: 1/ smoking allowed everywhere in outdoor part, what is unpleasant for non-smokers [recommended to define a smoking free zone among tables] 2/ can’t bring the food... Located in the Main Square (Rynek), Spiz is pretty much the perfect place for a beer in Wroclaw if you're looking in the centre. Recommended to me by a local, the beer was an experience with a few flavours to pick from. Go caramel if you like a particularly sweet beer, otherwise the honey beer is a good choice. Pretty... More

Great beer, great atmosphere, great food. Lots of different home brewed beers to try. Traditional Germanic type food. Recommend the pig knuckle.

I like this restaurant very much. The service is perfect. Waiters and waitresses know what they are doing. They watch you like a hawk. I am talking about the restaurant proper not the beer garden. Their beer which they brew on premises is OK but nothing outstanding, but I am not a beer aficionado. But the food they offer in... More

True, there's no butter with the bread, it's schmalz (lard), however, as a vegetarian I got the mushroom dumplings, they were fantastic. The rest of the family was very happy with their meals--even the picky eaters had steak and potatoes. Our waiter was extremely friendly and very nice to our tired children. Loved the atmosphere as well. The price was... More

Yeah, if the sun shines it is a must to have a pint of one of their fine fresh beers here. You get a free bread with it, but be aware, vegetarians should not take it as it is 'b'utterdes this Schmalz grease. Rainy day: just go inside the brewery café.

I did not eat here but sampled all their beers which were well priced and very good (except the caramel beer). Good atmosphere too.
