Good food & beer. Great value. Very large portions

We went in late afternoon for a very early dinner. We had beef tartare, borscht, stuffed of tongue, pork knuckle cooked in brown ale, and beef cheeks braised in beer sauce. All were really good. Pretty cheap as well. Together with two beer, we only paid about 180 pln, that's about £33. The food... read more

We've been here a few times for drinks and greatly enjoyed the in-house brews and interesting vodkas as well as the atmosphere so decided to treat ourselves to a meal in the restaurant. We ordered the big sharing dish (it was called beer drinkers platter or something like that, 100pln or so for two people) and it was HUGE! This... More

On he square and almost always full. The beer is excellent and so are the people watching opportunities. Open till way late in the4 night. The interior is down a set of stairs and quite charming...really is a place one must go to when in Wroclaw.

Personally beer with honey is not my kind of pint, but this is nice place to see, if you fit in. Summertimes you need to be early bird to be able to fit to terrace, really crowded.

This restaurant has great character and ambience, it's pet friendly and has an interesting menu. You should try their home brewed beer.

I liked this place so much that I visited twice in one day! I was really excited about the beer selection so we requested a beer flight with 5 beers. Once I figured out the one I liked the most, I ordered a large one (0.5L) and my travel buddy ordered a small (0.3L). It was lunch time but we... More

Full up and very noisy, just from everyone talking, even when we visited in March. Great beer and the free bread and lard goes down a treat. Excellent table service too.

We came to ''Spiz'' not for eating ( although there were very original dishes), but for tasting all sorts of bear. Nice price - 10 zl for 0.5, cheaper than a similar style of pub in Krakow. 6 or 8 sorts of bear includes very interesting caramel and apple tastes. But for me the special was ''dark''. The location is... More
