Very good pub and restaurant with their own brewery. Sitting in a pub you could see how they produce their excellent beer. Last time, except of beer, I ordered beer soup which I definitely recommended. There is a popular pub and sometimes it could be difficult to find a place.

I went there on a busy night. The place was packed with people and unfortunately there was not enough staff to deal with all customers - this place is recommended by some guides and it is not the cheapest, so I just don't understand why the cannot employ more people. We had to catch one of the running around waiters... More

Went there to have a meal, because all other place were already closed (10 p.m.). I went in, nobody welcomed me of course. When I asked a waitress where I can seat, but she made such a surprised face. Did I look like an alien??? I guess not. No smile, no welcoming, just like "what do u want here from... More

went there for a dinner with 3 friends. the place is in fact a small brewery with a huge seating place and can accommodate large groups. they have their own brewed beer which is pretty good and cheap. the food was also pretty good, we had onion and borscht soup, then moved to the pork ribs and steaks wrapped in... Before I went to Wrocław I have been checking with my friends some must see places in Wrocław. Almost everyone mentioned Spiż. Probably because of the location of place and the fact that Spiż would be a small brewery with the choice of 4 or 5 home made beers. As I have been to places with own beer this one... More

We were a table of twelve that was easily accommodated. One side is a bar/pub and the other side is a quieter restaurant. They have their own beer, friendly staff (important if you only speak English) and a good selection of traditional foods. The food was freshly made, nothing processed and everyone enjoyed their selections. They do not have free... More

Wide selection of beers, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend if you're in the area and fancy a cold pint.

Has the air of a typical German beer hall, large tables and lots of dark wood. Beer selection very good and reasonably priced. Only downside is that the cellar doesnt have wifi , although it did seem able to pick up Pod Papugami's from the floor above - handy if you've been there first and got their password! And you... I've travelled around the world and tried lots and lots of different beers but without a doubt the ones in Spiz are at the top of my list. Tottally strong and rich flavours , original taste that you cant compare. Everything made in-house beer, bread with lard and the best sour cucumbers . It's a great place located in the... More

It's a big place in what I suppose was a cellar - far bigger than a normal bar or pub - whose main selling point seems to be that it makes its own beer. The copper vats or whatever they're called are there in full sight behind the bar. Actually I didn't think their beer was anything marvellous. OK, but... More
