Before I went to Wrocław I have been checking with my friends some must see places in Wrocław. Almost everyone mentioned Spiż. Probably because of the location of place and the fact that Spiż would be a small brewery with the choice of 4 or 5 home made beers. As I have been to places with own beer this one... More

We were a table of twelve that was easily accommodated. One side is a bar/pub and the other side is a quieter restaurant. They have their own beer, friendly staff (important if you only speak English) and a good selection of traditional foods. The food was freshly made, nothing processed and everyone enjoyed their selections. They do not have free... More

Wide selection of beers, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend if you're in the area and fancy a cold pint.

Has the air of a typical German beer hall, large tables and lots of dark wood. Beer selection very good and reasonably priced. Only downside is that the cellar doesnt have wifi , although it did seem able to pick up Pod Papugami's from the floor above - handy if you've been there first and got their password! And you... I've travelled around the world and tried lots and lots of different beers but without a doubt the ones in Spiz are at the top of my list. Tottally strong and rich flavours , original taste that you cant compare. Everything made in-house beer, bread with lard and the best sour cucumbers . It's a great place located in the... More

It's a big place in what I suppose was a cellar - far bigger than a normal bar or pub - whose main selling point seems to be that it makes its own beer. The copper vats or whatever they're called are there in full sight behind the bar. Actually I didn't think their beer was anything marvellous. OK, but... More

We went with some friends to take a beer to start the night. There is the old beer factory and they still have their own home made beer in different kinds. We took 3beers (0,5l) and one coke for 30pln (arround 7,5€). The taste of beer was ok

If you want to try some great beers then this is the spot for you. They brew their own on site. Make sure to sit outside and take in all the locals and tourists. Try the Karmelowe you won't be disappointed.
