A very traditional experience

We went here one evening looking as we were looking for something more traditionally polish. It was a little bit like stepping back in time as we entered the restaurant in the cellars. A lot of the rest of the places in the city feels really modern, so this made a nice change. Lots of typical... read more

I visited this city on business and the team booked out a section of this restaurant. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Would visit here again!

Spiz is a wonderful micro-brewery smack in the middle of the Rynek. They have a selection of brews, my personal favourite is the jasne mocne. But please don't drink too many of them as they are quite strong, at least eat a few slices of bread with smalec. I am looking forward to visiting the new one in Opole.

Perfect place to have a drink outside on the Rynek. No service at the table, but the beer is really good (being a belgian, this is a compliment :-)).

I was with polish friends and we stopped here on Spiz's outdoor patio to enjoy a beer on a beautiful warm night. This place was rather crowded. No table service. We had to line up in order to pick up our beers. Very bad service provided by very uninterested employees. The beers were mediocre. We gladly departed after 10 minutes.

Had the chance to try all the beers that they have and I highly recommend the honey beer. Best beer ever! It's a must in Wroclaw.

The beer I got was pretty good, though admittedly not amazing; the appreciated bonus is bread with smalec, which comes for free with beer. The service was good, and the place is generally pretty nice and atmospheric. The main downside was the stupid screens with Shakira and all such crap. All in all, Spiż confirmed to be a very solid... good food that was in a very unique ambiance. felt very historic. loved the soup. also unique was the pats of bacon infused lard...yes, lard...you are supposed to spread it on your bread. i wouldn't do it every day, but it was a neat experience.

The big square is a must-see in Wroclaw, so why don't grab a beer or two in this great joint. We had a dark one and a bright yellow one - both fantastic - and the price includes a sandwich with salty pork fat. We loved it, very authentic.

This is the "real ale" pub of Wrockaw, with its own micro brewery. Various styles of beer, pile, honeyed and dark beer. The Pils is good (personal taste!), although the dark beer is very popular (a little of a caramel taste to me). There is a restaurant section, but there are also snacks/ small meals to have to the main... More
