A very elegant and good restaurant

Usually I stay in wroclaw x 3 days work and I never fail to have dinner at least once by Fredra . A rustic restaurant with excellent food . Fantastic fillet of herring , the famous ravioli stuffed Pierogi and zurek soup within a bread.

The restaurant we chose for its location overlooking the square. We sat on a spacious terrace. I ordered a traditional Polish soup Zurek, orabnge juice and water. The waiter asked if I wanted fresh juice. The waiter brought the food for a short time. Zurek served in bread was good. But I do not need to come back here again.

We went to eat here and there were three of us. There we a total of 4 tables with people. There were many waiters. Our waiter finally took our drink order and we get our wine after 10 minutes. We order our food and it took so long we decided to order a bread basket(which we were charged for) and... More

Located right next to The Old Town Hall on Rymek Square I expected just another tourist restaurant. How wrong could I be. The service was first class our waiter chatted to us about Polish history and places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was traditional and very tasty I can recommend the black pudding with fried potatoes... More

We would recommend this place for its decor and ambience and for the chance to try some traditional Polish dishes in one package. Due the their location and long and lasting existense they seem to be a little overpriced - and you can get more delicate Polish food elsewhere. All in all an average experience.

We spent a while wandering around the Rynek checking out a few menu and Pod Fredra really caught our eye. The food was wonderful with a huge range of local cuisine and plenty to suit all. The Steak Tartar was amazing as was the Pork Schnitzel. Just next door is the Hotel Spiz bar with great tasting beers. Looking forward... More

Whenever we visit Wroclaw we try to avoid the more "touristy" areas. However on our last visit we were passing Pod Fredra and thought the menu at looked fine so we took a chance - it turned out to be a very good decision! The location is ideal and we found the food to be fresh and delicious without being... More

Had dinner with a large group in Fredra to taste some traditional polish food, starting with Zurek soup in bread, then a variety of meat and fish with side dishes (potato, salad, etc). Service was fast enough considering the large amount of people, place is nice.

Solo dinner last night and decided to go for some polish grilled meats. Started with a beer and some Lithuanian sausage, sliced very thin. The sausage was very nice and the outdoor location was very cold. I think the weather has caught Wroclaw off guard. There were blankets but no heaters. I decided to go for the smoked ribs with... The food was OK. Small portions, but tasty. The water costed 30 zl!!!! A total ripoff. I live in this city and I've never been ripped off so hard.
