This restaurant is located in the center of the main square and main tourist attraction of Wroclaw. Looks very interesting and welcoming from outside however when you decide to eat there it is a big disapointment. Very bad quality of food and service. You can find some negative reviews of this restaurant on other travel directories. I think this shall be presented here as a warning for all foreign tourists to avoid this place. Great location and good outlook seems to be a trap which can destroy your holidays in such beautiful place as Wroclaw.

Interesting to see, but small portions and expensive meals

I really liked that this is the oldest place in Wroclaw and one of the oldest pubs in Europe. This is what attracted me and convinced me to go there and eat. But I was a bit disappointed when I got my meal. It was a really small portion and it was way too expensive. But over all, I had... read more

This is more of a museum than a restaurant. I recommend to visit as a historic site. Beer ordinary, average. Places of tourist, don't expect high quality here. But in the evening the service was normal.

Go here! If not for the food - you'll love the atmosphere of ancient times and the very nice beers. Try the zurek - a traditionel Polish soup served in a 'plate' of bread. The beetroot soup is also quite fine.

Just the entrance of the main street is very unique. Once you've walk into the buiilding, it explodes in all its glamour. Service was a little slow, however there were many people inside. There were 5 of us and all our meals were beautifully presented. Soup and main course was excellent.

Went there on a Monday evening, the long tables were almost totally occupied. The waitress quickly found a table for two. It was a bit noisy, so many people chatting. We liked the atmosphere, an unusual setting. In spite of the place being busy, we got served soon . The waiter mentioned, that no card payments were accepted before we... More

The most impressive building in Wroclaw from the German time is the old City Hall or Rathaus, a jewel of medieval design and craftsmanship in the center of the historic district. Traditionally there would be a restaurant with vaulted ceilings in the cellar, called the Rathskeller, and good local food would be available at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, in Wroclaw,... We went to this restaurant being afraid it could be a tourist trap. It turned out to be a very good restaurant with a wide menu and a lot of options. We were 6 people and all the dishes excellent. The decor and ambiance were wonderful. The location is ideal just in the middle of the rynek. Prices were responsible... More

The food is a little bit on the expensive side, but otherwise quite ok. The interior look is nice, but was perhaps a little bit too open for my taste, as there are two long rows of tables, so if you are looking for some private talk, this might not be a good place.

Superb ambience, excellent amber beer, gorgeous food, super service. Not cheap, but well worth your money.
