Description: This restaurant is located in the center of the main square and main tourist attraction of Wroclaw. Looks very interesting and welcoming from outside however when you decide to eat there it is a big disapointment. Very bad quality of food and service. You can find some negative reviews of this restaurant on other travel directories. I think this shall be presented here as a warning for all foreign tourists to avoid this place. Great location and good outlook seems to be a trap which can destroy your holidays in such beautiful place as Wroclaw.

they say it's one of the oldest restaurants in Europe, whether it's true or not the fact remains it's one of the most beautiful well reserved underground places I've been to. the entry as well as the interior are very mid-eval style. We were group of 4 people and had to try the place twice so they could find us... More

Whether or not it is in fact the oldest restaurant in Europe (how would anyone know?), the reality is that it's nothing special. The food's OK (my duck was anyway), the mediaeval-style painted seating with hanging canopies is vile, service is bad (slow; a couldn't care less waitress) and it's quite expensive. Leave it to the tour-groups and eat somewhere... More

I went with a group of friends ( 8 people in total) for a meal on saturday 18th Oct 2014. The food was good, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall good value for money. However after we had paid for our meal, we decided to have a drink in the bar adjoining the restaurant. We sat at a... More

I had high expectations given the location and a quick visit during the day. The building is amazing and the manager said we didn't need to book. What a difference come evening time. The rooms were even better than I remembered, then it all went downhill. We were told that it was fully booked and there was no room. After... More

If it's not really the oldest pub in Europe, it's definitely one of the coolest looking. Even if you're not going to eat or drink there, just go downstairs and have a look. Great food, drinks, and staff. Love it.

we had a lovely waitress serving us in this magnificent restaurant. I recall mostly the superb mural they had all over the curved wall, ceiling, about the most attractive eatery I've ever been in. They serve superb beers, as do nearly all bars and restaurants in Wroclaw. the menu has a wide variety of polish food and whilst the local guide... More

I must mention the chef because our food was excellent, either fish and meat, and our nice waiter. The atmosphere is magic but the service is totally inefficient and the waiting time is too long. No organisation in this place and the blondie manager was impolite and welcome us telling about the payment just by cash...no words really...price was average... More

I think in order to have a good experience here you need to have someone local with you. The food was just yummy but the staff don't speak a word of English. The price is also good and the decor is interesting.

Upon entering the establishment no one came to greet us. We waited about 5 minutes in plain sight of employees who simply ignored us. When we finally approached one of the staff to inquire about seating he was very rude. We finally received a table and were told we could pay with cash only. This generally isn't a problem but... To taste local small dishes with a glass of beer,in rynek, this is the place to be. Of course we were on the small terrace for a view,so can't say for the restaurant. But local food was cheap and very tasty, made fresh. The only incovenient is that it seemed to be full, and you have to wait for dishes
