A very civilised Polish restaurant in Wroclaw

When planning a 'first dinner' experience for anyone new to Poland and Wroclaw, colleagues and I always will tend to select Jadka. There are other restaurants that serve traditional Polish dishes, such as Lwowska - great for beer and lots of meat, and a good atmosphere usually. However Jadka is a... read more

Restaurant is housed in a lovely old building that used to be a slaughter-house! Very pretty décor and nice atmosphere along with delicious and beautifully presented food. Not a cheap place to eat but the culinary experience and excellent service were worth it. Seems to specialise in asparagus with lots of different asparagus-based dishes on the menu.

This restaurant serves traditional Polish dishes, but with a lighter touch. The duck with apple is delicious and the fish with samphire was also fantastic. As others have remarked it is expensive, but my colleague has a 'gold card' that gives a large discount from the food bill. this is probably the only way to attract local customers, when they... My wife was born in Wroclaw, Poland and emigrated to the US when she was 18 years old. Poland, at the time was a communist government. Since all her family has remained in Poland, we have been visiting just about every other year for the past 25 years. Our most recent visit was for 8 days during the Easter Holiday.... More

I really don't understand what people see in this restaurant. Ten of us went there for a business dinner. The only thing that was served in a timely manner was water which we didn't ask for and which was charged at the price of beer in other restaurants. They served us an apetizer (also charged) consisting of few slices of... More

It was a cold weekend in January, and we were the only guests of the whole evening it seemed. Despite this rather depressing scenario, the food was good traditional Polish cooking, well-executed, with an interesting wine list, attentive and highly professional staff. They told us that it's much busier in the week, and I can believe it.

This restaurant was recommended by my sister and it is most certainly worth a visit. It's a bit more expensive than other places but the surroundings are beautiful and the food is delicious. When I say expensive 3people 2 courses with wine and coffee just under£100 so much cheaper than the uk. It's certainly worth a visit.

We found this restaurant because of high reviews on yelp and it being close to our apartment. We were pleasantly surprised with the food, the staff and the ambiance. It was a really delicious dinner - one of our most expensive - but it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is really warm and cozy and the staff are very... More

Really lovely restaurant service was awesome and food incredible! Salmon tagliatelle with spinach was amazing. Provided a mid course of lemon ice cream to clear the palette which worked an absolute treat. Must go, hidden gem!
