Great Polish food

I ate here with about 10 other people. The service was great, as was the food. The portions are very large, so come with an appetite or share your food. The salads - beetroot, sauerkraut, cole slaw, and shredded carrots - are especially good.

2014 our dinner there was superb. 2015 the food was average, the service slow , and the price to quality ratio was high. The house white wine was good. Disappointing. It is located right on the main square opposite the main fountain. Great location. The trout was OK. Adjacent to the restaurant is a nice Polish ceramic shop. Maybe with... More

A nice ambience with friendly staff and great food. A warm welcome assured when you visit this restaurant even our dogs were well looked after. A varied menu with good choice of dishes all cooked to perfection.

Traditional restaurant on two floors with characteristic interior located in the heart of Wroclaw Market Square. Old Polish and Lvovian cuisine is excellent as is the special beer.

We ate here multi-course dinner. At starters there was different kind of meat bites sour cabbage and horse radish and white fish. Quite a big portion. Then we got a huge flaming platter of meat-pepper spit, two kind of potatoes, sour cabbage, chicken and something like pasty with different kind of filling. Everything was really good. There was just a... More

As many reviews have already observed, this place is authentic, and this place is authentic. I was visiting Wroclaw for a business meeting, and one of our business associates (a native Polish) actually got us here. The experience was complete - from the decor and ambience to the food and service. Everything had a distinctly Polish flavour. Not to mention... More

Visited here with some colleagues. Had the most amazing meal. Food was served on a large platter and was shared between six of us. We had lots of different meats and potatoes and dumplings. Food was cooked perfectly and was very good quality. Atmosphere was great, very good friendly waiters. Great beer and vodka. Will visit again and would recommend.

In our four nights of trying restaurants in Wroclaw, this was by far the most expensive but probably the most authentic for local cuisine. I have always wanted to try Borsch so that was my starter with butter beans. It was more of a red consome, where I was expecting slices or chunks of beetroot this wasn't the case, so... More

I wanted to eat traditional local fair so my team brought me here and I was glad I came. The atmosphere was great the staff friendly and the food of good quality. The appetisers were also great to try and the odd shots made it even more interesting. Well worth a visit.

It looks like a place for foreigners, but it's still very good for its food. athe dishes are those of the polish tradition and the view on the square is a plus. Not cheap anyway!
