Nothing special

We were hungry and Pstrag Gorski restaurant seemed like a good choice. Inside we were welcomed and untill the end of our visit the service was good. The music was too loud. Hundreds of positions on the menu. Food was ordinary, portions were far too large. All was just put on the plates. Primary... read more

I am interested to read other reviews on here. The negative one match our experience. We found the staff unhelpful in the extreme. One felt like you were bothering them if you asked them anything. They seemed happy to leave us standing & not help with trying to find a table. Once we did get a seat, we were in... More

We visited this restaurant as it looks very attractive from the outside, plus we are fish lovers. So it seemed like the place to eat. We walked in, no one there to greet us, we finally figured "its seat your self" (but a sign at the entrance would help stating so, and its not a big investment to put one... More

The restaurant lures people woth nice building all the fish hanging outside and a water around the place. The inside looked very pleasant. We were a group of 6 plus a baby. No one has greated the guests and no one had control where we can seat. After finding the place we were given the menues but the waitress could... More

Nothing worse than going on your travels and ending up eating food you get at home. Here this doesn't happen! I ate there twice when I stayed in the mountains. Both times I had traditional & local food. Amazing service off a young male waiter who advised us on the menu. One of the best trout I've ever had (with... More

Lots of seating upstairs (we had a large group and were able to sit together). The food was excellent for a tourist restaurant - it tasted fresh and everyone enjoyed their meals. Portions were large and I would suggest if you wanted to order soup to share the main dish. Service was straight forward and to the point - which... More

Food - amazing, fresh, tasty, really good. Service/staff - very very poor. We have spend in Zakopane a week in rented cottage, we have decided to visit this place as I am a fish and seafood lover. I must say that food was fantastic, I had a whole trout grilled with garlic sauce and it was the best fish that... More

Ate here twice in short stay in Zakopane, delicious break from the usual Polish pork-based fare. Service a mixture of cocky, off-hand and clueless (but always with a smile!). If you are brave enough to order wine, it is a journey into the unknown, for them as well as you. They don't have a wine list as such, and the... More

One of the worst Zakopane experience. Four years ago it used to be a great place, now clearly the goal is to feed the toursist in the cheapest and quickest way they can. The ribs were terrible, wild mushroom soup was diluted with water and the speciality - trout was very average. Its cheap but for sure you will not... More
