Ate here twice in short stay in Zakopane, delicious break from the usual Polish pork-based fare. Service a mixture of cocky, off-hand and clueless (but always with a smile!). If you are brave enough to order wine, it is a journey into the unknown, for them as well as you. They don't have a wine list as such, and the... More

One of the worst Zakopane experience. Four years ago it used to be a great place, now clearly the goal is to feed the toursist in the cheapest and quickest way they can. The ribs were terrible, wild mushroom soup was diluted with water and the speciality - trout was very average. Its cheap but for sure you will not... More

I've visited this restaurant in 2013 but forgot to write a review. I was surprised to find some people unhappy with this restaurant. Granted it may be more of a bar style place rather then restaurant but my whole family had amazing food. We had an assortment of meat and about 3 different fish but the best were the kluski,... More

One of a few restaurant I've visited in a last couple of days. I must admit the food gets a top marks, we both had a panfried Pstrag fish which was highlighted as one of the chef specials, and it was worth it! The fish was juicy and full of flavour and salad bouquet complemented well the overall enjoyment of... More

Visited this place on three occasions while on holidays in Zakopane and Tatra mountains. Restaurant is specializing in fish especially in trouts however many other typical polish dishes are available too. I do disagree with some negative comments here on TA as everything we ate was simply delicious and tasty. Very generous portions for reasonable price. Some people here being... More

This is supposed to be a restaurant specialized in fish. OK, if a restaurant in central Europe takes hallibut on their manu you may not expect it to freshly caught, but at least it should be prepared properly. The one I had was so overdone that the meat was soft which is completely wrong and shows their lack of knowledge... More

Great place to choke and relax after a long to day out. Food quality was very nice. The famous fish Pstrag was so appealing. Oh.... Can't forget the fresh cold Tsieski beer.

Four of us went there for dinner this week. We were 4 Americans (one of whom was a native Pol). We had terrible service. The server had an attitude from the start. When he mixed up the order and brought us the wrong thing, things went bad. We asked for it to go back and re-explained the order. 3 entrees... More

If you crave the trout come here for a treat. It is very popular, so you may have to wait, though. They don't have entrance host to make sure partons are accomodated based on their place in waiting line. It was pretty hectic during the holidays.
