Description: Restaurant Monarchia is a very special place, where you can make the real journey to the past – and you feel like in the first days of 1906 . Shows the forgotten traditions of CK traditional kitchen. This the only place in the region, and probably in Poland, you can taste old recipes of Polish, Austrian and Hungarian kitchen, very characteristic for past times. Restaurant menu includes traditional Hungarian fish soup, goulash soup in the kettle, other Hungarian goulashes, Vienna cutlet with the cold potato salad and touch of Czech kitchen like knedlik ( ban on a steam).

Being in the Przemysl must necessarily go to a distance of a quarter of the market residential area. "Monarchy" is hidden in the greenery of the gardens and wild pigs on the walls of the building. Great interior. You can see from what reverence completing its decor. From furniture to knick-knacks on the walls and cupboards. Food served discreetly look... More

So far the best restaurant in Przemysl i visited. Outside the city centre, well located in a nice neighbourhood. Good food - Polish cuisine - ( pierogi, herring, duck) - good wine ( Hungarian). Place worth visiting i guess.

Worth a visit to this restaurant at least in order to see the interior. The restaurant is decorated in a historic apartment times Aus-Hungarian Empire. Sideboards, sofas, knitted tablecloth, gramophone, tableware, all this creates a feeling of a time machine. Food also tasty and varied. Waiters are well prepared and courteous. The price for dinner is even lower than I... More

I really don't know what all the fuss is about with this restaurant. Ok it is a little bit off the beaten track, so it has to make publicity to get noticed, but apart from the beautiful interior I did not see anything particularily appealing about it. I asked for a speciality of the house, got a rolled meat which... More

We wander the back ends of Poland and find some interesting places but this is luxury and style in the back of beyond. Well off the major tourist trail it does take some finding but it is worth it. The food is good the drinks are ok and you can sit in a nice garden until 10 pm at night... More

I have been to Przemysl, last month and I have an opportunity to eat Polish dinner In Monarchia Restaurant. For me the food was delicious: I have never before tasted borsch, and pierogi. My grandmother was born in Przemysl and when I was a little girl she prepared for me polish pierogi and they tasted the same. I am a... More
