Try pierogi!

What a pierogi! You have to try. No matter which one will you take you will love it! I like "pierogi galicyjskie". Amazing :) Maybe it's kind of difficult to find this restaurant - cos it is at the back of the ratusz - but try and go there. Smacznego! And it's kids friendly- restaurant - with lots... read more

Absolutely must visit while in Nowy Sacz and try all different kinds of perogi served in the restaurant. Wide selection of pierogi with fruits. You should give it a try. Taste is unforgettable. My recommendation is to go for mix pierogi (a selection of couple of types served as one portion).

We visited this restaurant under the town hall after trying the poorly run pizza restaurant in the town who could not accommodate us. And I'm so glad they could not as our evening turned out to be fantastic and we had a lovely meal. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile and the menus. I have... More

This is probably one of the the best place to eat pierogi in Poland. Be warned - they may look small, but every one packs quite a punch. Try the Kvas to go with the pierogi. I'm still not sure what exactly Kvas is, but it is definitely worth trying.

Read about this place online and after walking around the ratusz. I found the entrance on the west side. We sat in a room off to the side of the bar. I had the Uzbek pierogi and was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful flavor and unusual color-the dough was green. I am of Polish ancestry and have eaten pierogi all my life... More

At this charming, perfectly central gem, I had the pierogies, and they wound up being the best I had during a trip that included lots of those dumplings in Warsaw, Krakow, and Lodz. I had the Russian style with cheese and buckwheat groats. Amazing.

This restaurant is an absolute must in Nowy Sacz. We always go back there while visiting the town. Located in the city hall (in the basement, but in the summer they have a few tables outside), it is a perfect place to have a quick lunch or a bigger dinner with family or friends. Their food (traditional Polish dishes, including... More
