More photos to show youwhat it's like going into this place and downstairs to the main restaurant (Upstairs there is a cheaper and more relaxed salad bar with 2 mains to choose from) it gets very busy and sometimes you have to queue) This is about the food, which was lovely Goose breast with barley and stuffing and mash arrived... We looked here at the upstairs vegetarian & healthy options first which looked inviting but went downstairs to eat in the cellar! Menu was varied & we ate the pork & beef dishes which were delicious & very good value. Service was friendly & the ambience of the place was great. Would certainly go back here. Next time!

Chimera has a salad bar dining area and a cellar restaurant, we only realised this once we had been seated in the conservatory part of the salad bar. There was such a wonderful bohemian ambience and as we comfortable where we were, the very helpful friendly waiter suggested we just ordered from restaurant menu, as it all came from the... More

Once this place was a vegetarian, and then I liked it more. Now it's just a milk bar with a few meat dishes. Do not expect fireworks, this restaurant is famous, but it used to be much better. In general, if you want to eat something cheap, fast and reasonably healthy, you can enter. Because it is cheap, a lot... More

I'll start off by saying that we went for new years' eve dinner, and from past experience (though I do not understand it) bad service and/or bad food is a must, it would seem. So take this into account when reading this review. I liked the restaurant's decor. It was very cozy and rustic. The service was not that bad... More

Some Polish friends took me to this place and I immediately fell in love with it. It's the heaven of salad bars with so much variety to chose from. As I remember it's cafeteria style where you pay per plate, and it wasn't very expensive. I dream of finding places like this here in the states.

Had dinner here on our first evening in Krakow...Service was Excellent and our Lamb, Duck & Venison dinners were tasty and very well presented. Prices were more than reasonable and music by Edith Piaf was playing when we arrived. Portions of the cellar are from the 1300's making it the third oldest place I've ever had dinner...I would certainly recommend... More

This little gem was recommended by our hotel concierge. The setting is bohemian, yet spacious, and quirky. Food is freshly prepared, excellent variety and very cheap. Great for lunch and a mid afternoon pick me up

We'll- we were hungry about 600pm and headed down the stairs- only ones eating there for about 30 minutes- the staff were so pleasant with a little English. They are known for their game food- we had goose with cabbage and potatoes and pork with boiled potatoes broccoli - cauliflower-carrots- very large portions- before our dinner arrived- we got hot...
