This famed burger van is mentioned on various websites and pages. I can't remember how long ago it was that I was first told about it by my friend Olga who works in a hostel and was giving me a tour along Starowislna to go see the Kopiec, probably just under a year. Well in that time I've actually found... More

Van arrives around 8PM and stays until 3AM. One sausage is 7.50 zl. Add a soda and it's 10. No place to sit but does have a table to stand around. Sausages are cooked over a wood fire and have the perfect bit of char. Fun experience but expect long lines. Absolutely worth it if you are in the area.... More

We needed a break from restaurants so followed the tripadvisor advice and sought this out. So glad we did. Went early and joined a short queue: a mix of tourists like us, local snackers and people buying 'takeaways' in quantity. Ate at the open table and met some really nice people. Sausages tasted great and the simplicity of the whole... More

I've been to Krakow 5 times now and finally made it here last trip. I stayed round the corner so visited a couple of times. Its probably the one stand out eating experience of my trip and one I won't forget. Imagine how many people round the world have eaten from this humble set up. Just proves if you do... More

Recently in Krakow and this was a MUST for my husband who is a BBQ and meat smoking enthusiast.... we tried many nice but finally made it there on our last day. We got there at about 830pm and a small line up had started. The meat was grilling and the smiles flowing. The food is simple but that is... More

This is it - a “cult spot” in Krakow. In front of communist-era Hala Targowa two hard working entrepreneurs have an excellent thing going. Very simple concept: wood-fired grill, good sausage, fresh rolls, mustard, ketchup and “oranzada” (very sweet, carbonated drink straight from the times of politburo). Every night: rain, snow, hot summer or depth of winter an old, commie-era,... More

Found it and had fabulous sausage with crusty roll. Also had the traditional sweet drink. Ate around a portable table with the locals and had some fun conversation. Worth the evening walk. Mmmmmmmm!

Best business plan ever. Served right on the street directly on a main thoroughfare out of a van so no overhead. Basic menu of the best kielbasa, bread, mustard and beer. There was a que of people walking right off the street and even driving and parking up. Great experience if visiting krakow.
