Situated just off the main square in Krakow this restaurant is a little different from the norm! It offers Polish/French Cuisine and is quite good at what it does. What a lovely restaurant. Food cooked to perfection, fine wines at cheap prices. Only £15.00 per bottle for Bordeaux. Go on, treat yourself, you won't regret it.

Wonderful restaurant for a romantic dinner. Located close to center, in must charming cellar, this restaurant provides you with high class cousine at low cost. It's a bargain, don't miss it when in Krakow.

Nice and cozy, warm atmosphere. Really friendly and nice staff. The main course (entrecôte) was average, a lot of good tastes. The dessert table was just awesome, recommended...

Service great and the food was excellent. Nice place set underground but it is not dull or dark. Menu is good with plenty of choices from meat, poultry and fish and the menus are in several languages. I had the marinated Norwegian salmon followed by the pheasant, both are highly recommended. Desserts were chosen from a wide variety on a... More

Like a majority of the best experiences I've had traveling through nearly 50 countries, this one was a fortuitous accident. I stumbled on it, completely by chance, walking just off the main square on my very first visit to Krakow. With zero knowledge aforehand, I was intrigued by the menu and the photos on the small stand outside the main... More

Atmosphere was very warm and comfortable in a cellar like space with exposed brick and candle light. Each course was well prepared and served by a friendly, happy, and professional young staff. I stay at hotels often and LaFontaine is best hotel restaurant I have experienced. Reasonable prices and a superb menu.

A lot of menus in Krakow are very similar, craving fish we viewed the menu on street level. The entrance didn't look the most inviting, but after going down the steps we entered a restaurant with traditional decor. The food was amazing, presentation was fantastic and the dessert trolley was vast, offering a choice of three or five items, we... More
