The dumplings stuffed with meat and mushrooms, sprinkled with stewed onion and bacon were the best pierogis I had in Krakow! And my wife raved about the "Zurek" soup.

They say you must have duck when you visit Poland--always a dicey situation as I have found duck to often be somewhat gamey and often dry. Not so here. It was perfectly cooked duck in a vodka plum sauce. I also ordered a side dish of cucumbers with dill and sour cream. While the duck was very good, I actually... More

Nostalgia is located in a quiet place, still very close to main attractions. Whenever I've got foreign guest or kids feel like having Polish food, Nostalgia is the best choice - excellent food (not fatty like in most places), delicious desserts and perfect service. You can also order a half of each meal for the kids, not only French fries... More

We ate here about nine years ago and went back! The food is still good both in terms of value and quality. Good English spoken by the staff, although we made the effort to speak what Polish we could! The girl who looked after us on two separate occasions was helpful and friendly. She also provided us with complementary shots... More

Having previously visited Nostalgia Restaurant I could not fault the food or the service but this time when we went I quickly changed my mind. Service not too bad as there only seemed to be one waitress on duty. The food was not so good plus it was cold. I did feel terrible as I had recommended this restaurant to... More

We saw positive reviews in written guides. We went with another couple upon arrival in Krakow. We were underwhelmed by the food and the giddy waitress. Loved the cherry tart though.

I had pierogis to start which was the first time I had tried them. They were delicious. I had a steak for main course with a lovely pepper sauce. My friend revisited nostalgia about 8months later and the... More

Six of us went to this restaurant after reading reviews on tripadvisor. We weren't disappointed. Food and service were great as were the surroundings. Varied menu choice.

Found this place by accident, close to our hotel (Maksymillian). It's down an alley and not obviously a restaurant. The staff were welcoming. English not a problem. The restaurant offers good, wholesome Polish food and drink at very reasonable prices. For example I had borscht with dumplings followed by spare ribs with sauerkraut plus a beer for just over 20...
