A good restaurant with may things to choose

A quite good restaurant with many option to choose from. It had many traditional Polish food. It is supposed to be touristic but not that much as the easily found central ones, so expect better treatment and competitive prices. The food quality is good but not as well cooked. I tried other polish... read more

We popped in for late lunch. I had the pork hock, it was overcooked, I enjoy lard (many do not) but it was plain nasty. My wife had a stew with potato pancake, the meat was greasy, fatty, stringy and chewy. The pancakes tasted like they had been deep fried in lard allowed to cool and then dipped in cold... More

Have eaten at Chlopskie Jadlo for 10 years or more but in the recent 2 years or so it has been bought out and has now lost its original charm! The schabowy was huge and good the pierogi fine but barszcz was a little 'plastic' The complementary bread, cheese and smalec used to be the proper stuff - chunky rustic... More

I've been to Chlopskie Jadlo few times already this year and each time it is a very enjoyable experience! First of all, the atomsphere is very friendly and I really like the decorations. The staff is helpful and attentive and the service is very quick! The food itself is delicious with a good choice of traditional Polish meals. The last... More

Good source of local food, chance to try Polish dishes. However not very different from my home cuisine still a good choice while in Poland. I've been there with Polish, American, British colleagues and all enjoyed the place, the service , the variety. Make a try.

We went to this place looking forward to eat some nice traditional polish food. We are disapointed with everything! Staff was unfriendly and very very slow. Waiting for one hour in an empty restaurant at 12 pm is not acceptable. We were four people and two of us throw up after this terrible food. Schbowy (sznitzel) was burned, other meal... More

We were a party of 4. We had zrazy,gołabki, schabowy and some chicken. All of them were uneatable, except some fries that came on the side with the chicken. 2 of us had some sort of food poisoning and had to throw up in McDonald's where we went to eat after this horrible experience. Food was also expensive. We got... More

It's an inexpensive way to get traditional polish food on your plate . The service is swift and friendly , the beer is cold and the food is hot , just the way I like it . Certainly worth a second or third visit !

We got this place recommended by our taxi driver as a place for local polish food, which we wanted to try despite being slightly sceptical. The interior has a rustic style and there are wooden benches, no chairs. That worked fine for the duration of a meal and helps to give the place its style and charm. My wife had... More
