Great place a bit pricy but worth it

The ambiance, the food and the service were excellent. If you like to wine and dine - you must try Wierzynek - they serve traditional Polish Cousine and some very tasty wild game. Highly recommended!

There are just so many better restaurants in Krakow especially when you compare the price. The service is of course excellent, but I would not come back unless some one else really really wants to. The herring entree was average with too much onion (think tennis ball amount). The duck as main was good but I have had better duck... More

We were in Cafe Wierzynek twice drying our short stay in Cracow. And if you like sweets just go there. Not really too pricy, delicious cakes and really good coffee. Especially mocca coffee was very tasty! And staff is just so nice . Will definitely go there again next time I'm in Cracow.

Just being at this restaurant is a great experience (has more than 600 years). The food is really good, no matter what you order. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I recomend the duck with potatos and stuffed zucchini flower and the chocolate souffle with mint icecream (delicious!!). It's a restaurant you can't miss if you visit Krakow.

Very Historic building and restaurant - since the 1300s I believe. We took a private room on the second or third floor, yes lots of stairs for this, but it was like walking into one of the Guild Halls in London once in the room. Yes again a group of 17 for a 60th birthday meal, good selection of foods,... More

I believe that this is billed as the oldest restaurant in eastern Europe from back in the early 1600's. It has an unpretentious entrance in the town square but once you enter the doors you see the elegance of this fine restaurant - a throwback in time. I was ushered to an upper level for a cocktail reception which was... More

Fantastic restaurant, the best service I think I have ever received in a restaurant of this class. Lovely atmosphere and some amazing authentic food. Would recommend to anyone, they really went out of their way to make it a special birthday meal for my partner. Stunning.

I have to say the food was fabulous and well presented. The cost was a bonus. Despite being one of the 'poshest' restaurant in Krakow a 3 course meal with drinks and coffee for less than £90.00 is cheap. However what let it down for us was the service. When we booked several days in advance we specifically requested a... More
