It's one of those places me and my wife really enjoyed having a romantic meal at. The second i mentioned going to Krakow again she just wanted to book a table for two. The food is excellent. the service impeccable with the waiter being a real gentleman. Just a side note... they DO accept visa, contrary to most posts I... More

Delicious food perfectly matched with delicious wines. I dined alone whilst overlooking the square. The restaurant is in a beautiful old building which is worth seeing in itself. This restaurant is on the formal side, no one shouting their heads off at the tables, I felt elegant just being there. Great value too.

The good things: For a fancy restaurant the prices are moderate (zl 13,000 with tip for 4 people including a bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine). The fois gras was excellent as was my dessert a chocolate soufflé with restaurant made mint ice cream - made with chopped mint leaves! The bad: All the other food was dry... More

Want to have a posh but also excellent dinner? Visit this restaurant Wierzynek at the Central Market. Akihito of Japan, Bush Sr. of the US, de Niro, Spielberg and Queen Elisabeth of Great Britain had dinner here. And now also Wiedenhof and spouse of the Netherlands. Great food and service, also for veggies, beers, wines at decent prices. Fine. Recommended.

I have been to many restaurants in the world, however this one will rank among the best in my view. Elegant setting featuring authentic Polish cuisine extremely well presented and delicious since 1364 (yes, 1364). Do try the vodka made exclusively for the restaurant (the best and most refined ever tasted by myself) Due to the exquisit food and price,... More
