Best duck ever!

Just being at this restaurant is a great experience (has more than 600 years). The food is really good, no matter what you order. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I recomend the duck with potatos and stuffed zucchini flower and the chocolate souffle with mint icecream (delicious!!). It's a... read more

Very Historic building and restaurant - since the 1300s I believe. We took a private room on the second or third floor, yes lots of stairs for this, but it was like walking into one of the Guild Halls in London once in the room. Yes again a group of 17 for a 60th birthday meal, good selection of foods,... More

I believe that this is billed as the oldest restaurant in eastern Europe from back in the early 1600's. It has an unpretentious entrance in the town square but once you enter the doors you see the elegance of this fine restaurant - a throwback in time. I was ushered to an upper level for a cocktail reception which was... More

Fantastic restaurant, the best service I think I have ever received in a restaurant of this class. Lovely atmosphere and some amazing authentic food. Would recommend to anyone, they really went out of their way to make it a special birthday meal for my partner. Stunning.

I have to say the food was fabulous and well presented. The cost was a bonus. Despite being one of the 'poshest' restaurant in Krakow a 3 course meal with drinks and coffee for less than £90.00 is cheap. However what let it down for us was the service. When we booked several days in advance we specifically requested a... More

The food was excellent according to everyone. The service was perfect (fast/efficient, friendly but discreet, not pushy). The place is great looking.

I went to Wierzynek with my wife, attracted by what Wierzynek is: one of the oldest restaurants in Europe (1364), and in the heart of Krakow. The dinning area is wonderful. After being received in the ground level by a gentle lady dressed in a kind of traditional dress, we were brought to the first floor, which has a very... More

The decoration and the service are from another epoch. It is like being taken back a 100 years. (What I know of restaurants of that time is from books and movies.) The food is very good and the service is extraordinary-waiters in formal dress who seem to anticipate your every wish. The traditional atmosphere of this restaurant would be a... More

Top service, Top food - and the atmosphere is just amazing. Where else can you have a dinner in the "Armor room" and eat a close to perfect meal surrounded by swords, halberds and lances - not all of the is replicas - in a 650 year old restaurant. As the wife said it;" I had a three course meal,... More
