We will host you Honourable Dames and Sires, with a gladness in our hearts in the halls of a seventeenth century tavern with splendidly flavoursome food and drinks of all sorts. Our maids and lackey open the gate at noon and close them at 12 on dusk. Chy canst savour delicacies of the olden polish cuisine. And all these delicious bites should taste the finest when washed down with a quart of exquisite spirits. We will be delighted with your company. Delicious

If you want to try traditional Polish, you come to the right restaurant. Rosol z Koldunamy is my favorite broth with small dumpling and meat inside. Pierogi is dumpling with variety filling (meat, cheese, cabage/mushroom, cheese/potatoes) and they are just great.

We went here for the evening as it was recommended to us by friends for a traditional "Polish experience". Food was ok, big portions and the restaurant setting was very unique! I guess probably the equivalent food standard you'd get a average country pub if looking for a traditional British experience! Fine dining it is not, but if you're looking... More

The restaurant was highly recommended and was within walking distance from where we were staying. We received excellent service and a delicious traditional feast along with fine wines and beer (and of course vodka shots of sorts). The atmosphere was lovely with traditional music being played in the background with all the traditional features making this a lovely place to... More

Recently, my family and I did a trip to Europe. One of our stops was Kraków, Poland. I wasn't expecting much from the city but I quickly changed my mind. The city was BEAUTIFUL and the people were extremely friendly! On our last day we wanted to go out to dinner and try traditional polish food. As soon as you... More

The food is great, fresh and genuine. I would prefer the salads, especially the carrots, to be less "saucy" and the portions to be slightly smaller... It's so good that it's such a pity not to be able to eat it all. And one must leave some space for the delicious apple cake at the end! A great place to... More

We went to this restaurant after some Polish friends recommended it. It did not disappoint. Our hotel had made the booking for us and on arrival we were shown straight to our table. It is not fancy food but good hearty food, typically Polish. We ordered the special set two course and it was plentiful with a varity of dishes.... More

We liked the décor which felt like a traditional hunting lodge. Didn't like the location, a long way from town. We had a good evening but the décor, the beer and the company were all better than the food, which was fairly plain. The standout dish was the Polish bread and dripping (animal fat) and the best baked potatoes in... More
