Traditional food, decent service

We passed by this restaurant when wandering around the Jewish quarter and decided to have dinner there. The menu mainly consists of traditional Polish food, which is well cooked. I especially liked the "unusual" apple pie I had for desert. Service was decent and quick. Despite one wall being... read more

Took the tram to the Jewish quarter and had a fantastic meal here last night. They have a range of food which suited our group of four. Things starred off well when a pre-starter arrived; it was a very welcomed appetiser. The mushroom soup was served in a bread bowl with a lid and was fresh and crusty with a... More

We went here for dinner because of the good TA reviews and near location to our hotel. I hade duck for main course that was okey as well as the pear ice cream dessert. We got what we ordered and it was decent. It was very cheap, and the wine we had was a great bargain. Overall good value.

A gem of a restaurant located in Kazimierz, the Jewish quarter of Krakow. Close to the centre but far enough out to escape the usual tourist hustle and bustle. Authentic polish quisine and wonderful service. The duck and apple is not to be missed, the pierogi are something else and I've never had cheesecake as good as this! Find this... More

We found this restaurant by chance and intend visiting again. Food was excellent and extremely good value. Complimentary starters were tasty and the house wine good. Service was very good although plates were taken away as each person finished their meal rather than waiting to clear them at the same time. Certainly recommend this restaurant.

We came across this restaurant whilst wondering around Jewish district and decided to try it - well we were not disappointed - the staff and service were excellent and the food absolutely mouthwatering .I had the goose which was amazing but my other friends were equally loving their dishes . This restaurant is slightly more upmarket as far as cost... More

This restaurant is located just off a square in the Jewish Quarter. Big portions. We avoided a starter so that we could have a sweet, this is a lesson we learnt from eating at other restaurants in Krakow! Good Polish food. I ordered a steak and it was one of the best sirloins I have ever eaten. The apple pie... More

A charming restaurant with an original decor. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. But the unquestioned highlight was the duck leg, which was really fantastic. The garlic baked potatoes are also highly recommended. We were too full for dessert, but they also looked lovely and the portions were enormous.

Located out of the main tourist area, this restaurant was a rare little find, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, we were lucky to get in as we hadn't booked, a very nice touch with an unexpected appetizer, which was delicious as was all the food, A lovely restaurant and very good value for money.
