Synesthesia of taste

I'm not a big Polish food fan but Bombonierka was a good choice. The only thing I didn't like there was small toilet and Polish music... Yes, I know it's a Polish restaurant, duh, but I felt a little bit like on a typical Polish wedding. Is there really no Polish "eating music" at all? I doubt it.

Restaurant is surrounded by several Italian food restaurants. People! This is Krakow. We want polish taste. We found this one! Very good late dinner. Kind and patient staff. Tasty fresh dishes. Recommend!

Introducing our guest to great Polish food was easy here. Wonderfully prepared, attentively served, happily eaten! Table reserved for ten waiting for us, and all left contented!

Went there twice for lunch. Their Zurek is not the best I've had in Krakow, but in the top 5. I've had the potato cake with goulash (pork) and it was yummy. The salmon is decent. Great mushroom soup and decent duck on apples ( the skin could've been crispier). Definitely try their fried potatoes with the duck.

Went here for dinner tonight about 8pm, plenty of tables available, later the restaurant became very busy. The service and professionalism was fantastic to experience. The food, mainly traditional Polish, was fantastic. Loved the touch of receiving a pre-entre dish at no cost. This restaurant is decorated with pictures of people in traditional costumes a wonderful touch. Great food at... More

Lovely polish food, huge portions, good prices. We ate pancakes with spinach and garlic sauce and because we wanted to eat one portion together with my friend they even made it into two portions and put the price in half to our bills - thats a good service! For the main I ate duck with apples, onions and roasted potatoes.... More

A fairly small restaurant situated in the Jewish Quarter of the city.I would advise booking a table for an evening meal in advance owing to its popularity and reputation.Decor is attractive, menu extensive and service attentive. Portions are generally large in krakow restaurants so we shared a starter of pancakes filled with spinach and mozzerella cheese. We chose duck (with apple) and... More

Recommended to me by a local before travelling to the city. The owner Thomasz is very friendly as are his staff and the restaurant was surprising busy for a Monday night. Excellent menu of Polish dishes at reasonable prices. There are pleanty of other restaurants in the area but you will not be disappointed with this one.

Recommended by our hotel receptionist. Lovely restaurant, great food. The service was good, although the waitress could have been friendlier and Smiled a bit more. Would eat here again though.
