Best cheesecake, good coffee

A cute little place right in the heart of Kazimierz, the Krakow Jewish quarter, full of this typical quirky atmosphere that I love about the Krakow coffee places. They have delicious pasta if you're hungry but I come here for the coffee and occasional chocolate cake or lemon tort. It's quiet, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's an ideal place to study or play Polish scrabble with a friend.

We've been there four years ago for the first time and very much enjoyed the food (lamb meat with aubergine), dessert and the peaceful atmosphere there. The staff is also very friendly which (especially recently) is not always the case in Krakow.

Unusual to find a cafe restaurant in this city offering a significant amount of vegetarian food. Great quality, fast and very pleasant environment. Highly recommended.

Stylish and relaxed cafe with a jazz soundtrack. We visited on a chilly February afternoon and had the carrot cake and tea which was reasonable. Served by an extremely pleasant and helpful lady. Nice minimalist design with a homely touch. Some great lights dotted about. Worth trying if you're in the area.
