We went to this place after seeing reviews on Trip advisor, with high expectations for the food, we thought we are going to have the authentic Polish food, but it is not, only the decor is impressive. From my wife's opinion (my wife is Polish), it is average. She had grilled cheese with cranberry source, the source is from a... More

We had dinner in this great restaurant recently. The restaurant is located on a side street not far from the city centre. Inside, it has the look and feel of a rustic farmhouse, and animal sounds are interspersed with the folk music played in the background. The menu included several traditional Polish dishes and the food we chose was excellent,... More

We visited on a late Wednesday evening. We orders the polish pan for 2-3 hungry men. We were informed due to a large booking out food would take quite a long time. It only took 15mins. The food was amazing it was very wilderness type food(sausage, cabbage, dumplings etc) the place was also decked out like an old sheep herder... More

This was only 5 minutes walk form our hotel. When we walked in we were greeted by a nice lady that sat us at our table. The restaurant seemed very busy at the time with two large groups and other customers. We decided on ordering the polish pan. As you can see in the pictures is a massive selection of... More

Before visiting Krakow I was given some recommendations of restaurants to try by one of my Polish friends, and this was one of them.....and I am glad that I took their advice. Entering from a nondescript street just outside the Old Town tourist district you find yourself transported into a traditional wood cabin in the countryside. The food matches the... More

I visited this restaurant with my husband on a recent trip to Krakow after reading reviews on here. The food was amazing, and very reasonable on price. Service was a bit of a disappointment though. We had to wait quite some time for drinks to be served then when I got my starter which was soup, it was served without... More

This was our favourite meal in Krakow. Slightly off the tourist trail, but well worth a short walk from the centre. The décor is traditional highlander style, as is the menu. The food was excellent, great value for money, and there was a good choice for vegetarians (unusual in Poland). Service was attentive and friendly. A must if you are... More

Delicious Polish dishes, warm welcoming environment and great prices (less than €2 a beer or mulled wine and mains from €2.50). I definitely recommend this restaurant. It is open every day from 1.pm.
