This place was just down the street from my apartment, 3mins walk from Krakow Old town. Going in you notice the place is like an old inn and it was great. As the previous review have said, yes there is only 1 lady serving the food however she is very friendly and the place is not too big anyways. The... More

Wooden interior, folklore music, delicious traditional cuisine, waitress in folk costume, seating on sheep fur and the crackling of fire just next to your table. It's worth to visit in these cold days.

Nice charming small restaurant. Waitress was very nice and helpful, atmosphere is warm and cozy. Food is amazing, and on the top of everything prices are more than acceptable. For two appetizers, two main meals, two desserts and two beers we paid around 20 €. If you want a hearty traditional polish experience you should definitely go there. If you... More

Chata was near our hostel so we went there to eat. They have only one waitress and she is the slowest person ever. You have to wait about half an hour for her to only come at your table and give you the menu. The food was okay but really nothing special, the worst I have eaten in Krakow. Goulash... More

We ordered goulash served in buns. It hardly had any taste or anything to do with what goulash should be like. Don't get fooled by the atmosphere and the prices, you can do much better than this.

I visited this restaurant for a lunch after sightseeing on a very cold day. The food was good, we ordered oscypek with cranberries for starters and kotlet schabowy for the main. Both were great and fresh. Service was a bit slow, as there was only one person serving us. The room was cold, despite the fact that in the other... More

We went there on New Year's eve to have something traditional Polish during our stay in Krakow. Service was ok (we booked in advance and waitress was nice) and the restaurant was traditionlly furnitured with an old chimney and wooden walls but the food was really horrible!!! We went for goulash and dumplings. Everything seemed to be heated up in... More

We have been here on 31 Dec and we were surprised to find such an amazing place. The restaurant with the fireplace and the wood tables and chairs bring you to another level. Furthermore I need to add that the food was heaven. We tried the famous pan and we were amazed. Quality is high and everything was delicious. We... More
