Delicious food in a quaint and cosy old fashioned Polish restaurant. We had the 'pan' which is a great selection of peasant food. Very filling and delicious. Lots to go round. I would recommend booking as it was very busy with people being turned away.

We visited this restaurant after a long and cold day of sightseeing. The place is rather small but very cozy. As all the tables were occupied we waited for our turn and soon one emptied. Before having a chance to sit, the waitress politely informed us that she was the only one serving that day and it would take some... More

If you want to start your stay in Krakow with traditional cuisine, Chata is the place to go ! Nice waitress, menu in English and good food for a reasonable price. Just give it a try, it's worth while !

Very nice and cozy Little restaurant. We were many, and the kitchen and waitress could not keep up with the orders. Still, we had an excellent time and lost of good food.

Food was ok, the price was VERY reasonable. Maybe our soup served in bread could be bit bigger but hunting potato cakes with goulash and side salad were so good, that I can forget about the small size of soup. Highly recommend if you do not want to spend to too much money and have nice supper.

We visited here after reading the reviews but were disappointed. The atmosphere is good, it is like being inside a wooden lodge with sheepskin rugs on pine benches. We had the platter for 2/3 costing 149 pln. (£30+).The food was of poor quality and lukewarm. The cuts of meat were very fatty. This was not enjoyable although there was plenty... More

We went to this place after seeing reviews on Trip advisor, with high expectations for the food, we thought we are going to have the authentic Polish food, but it is not, only the decor is impressive. From my wife's opinion (my wife is Polish), it is average. She had grilled cheese with cranberry source, the source is from a... More

We had dinner in this great restaurant recently. The restaurant is located on a side street not far from the city centre. Inside, it has the look and feel of a rustic farmhouse, and animal sounds are interspersed with the folk music played in the background. The menu included several traditional Polish dishes and the food we chose was excellent,... More

We visited on a late Wednesday evening. We orders the polish pan for 2-3 hungry men. We were informed due to a large booking out food would take quite a long time. It only took 15mins. The food was amazing it was very wilderness type food(sausage, cabbage, dumplings etc) the place was also decked out like an old sheep herder... More
