We were looking forward to our meal here after reading the great reviews and seeing how cosy the place looked inside. We looked through the menu and were impressed with the prices, we chose the Pork Chop (18PZ) and the Pork neck (18PZ) which both came with two salads and potatoes, rice or chips. We also had a beer and... More

The restaurant was decorated in rustic way, with traditional polish music playing in the background. Very cute and cosy, the perfect place to eat if you are looking for cheap traditional food :)

Service was a bit slow as there was just one waitress serving the entire restaurant but having said that she was very good and so was the food. A bit of an out of the way location but definitely worth a visit. Brilliant value for money.

Firstly 3 of us had a 2 course meal + drinks (2 cokes and 1 beer) for the equivalent of £14 including a tip. The cucumber soup to start raised a few eyebrows among us but left us eating our words as was it delicious. The polish shishlak was a chicken skewer which was seasoned very well. Only negative was... We wanted to go to a Polish restaurant on our final night in Krakow and saw this one on Trip Advisor. We loved it the minute we walked in, the setting was like an Alpine restaurant with fur throws, which weren't needed in the heat of July but I'm sure would be fantastic in winter. We were seated on a... More

This restaurant is a relatively short walk from the old town of Kraków (a walk which necessitates crossing some tram-filled roads) but is worth the stroll. Chata is decorated like some seventeenth-century peasant's hut, with animal skins over the wooden benches and uneven, white-washed walls. It is relatively cosy, and the food is good, traditional and hearty: nothing to write... More

Me and my girlfriend had been at this restaurant several times before. In general it was usually average food, but it was cozy and quite cheap so we liked this place overall. Yesterday we went again, my girlfriend ordered a particular dish but she got a more expensive dish instead. She didn't mind so much but stopped halfway and told... More

I don't understand what has happened to this place. We went in January 2014 because we saw very good comments on tripadvisor, and actually we really enjoyed the place, the food was delicious, the service very helpful and efficient, so it was a good experience. For this reason, we decided to come back (just 6 months later) and we couldn't... More
