Description: We care for your health and carefully choose the ingredients for the dishes we prepare for you. Here at ZIELONA KUCHNIA you will find only the green cuisine, just as our name suggests. We only serve the finest selection of vegetables, fruit, organic meat, grain products and so much more. Our location may be new but the building itself, right on the courtyard of the council house nr 8, is over 100 years old.We were simply charmed by the wonderful atmosphere, the beauty and the long history of this place. The building was erected around 1908 and was destined to hold a blacksmith and locksmith business. After the First World War a local print shop was open here for years, and all of Chopin’s works were printed here for the first time in history. Today it is a great place for having a cosy get-together and enjoying yourself in great company.

We have been there for lunch and we had a fish soup and Polish beef (sirloin and ribeye). The soup was good and fresh, but nothing breathtaking; the meat was actually nice. I asked for a medium-rare and I got a raw one, but then they excused and made a brand new dish; the service is professional and extremely kind.... More

The food and atmosphere are Ok, fairly decent quality and reasonable service. Reading the reviews you would think that this is a Michelin restaurant, but it is not even close. This sits at the standard of Prezzo, certainty nothing better. Maybe I'm snobby, but I don't think the reviews given are by people who fine dine.

We ate inside because of the weather - it was ok but outside did look very nice for a warm summers evening - service was very good We had 4 glasses of ok house wine to accompany our 2 ribeye steaks and my fish soup starter for 158pln Soup was nice and the salmon was very moist, just added at... Just really very good! Our salads were beautiful. We had the goats cheese salad with lambs lettuce blueberries grapes strawberries and more lambs lettuce and weren't disappointed with the portion size. The chicken salad was pretty substantial too. The pasta looked healthy too!

Placed in the outskirts of the city and not so crowded with tourists. Beautiful green garden in an alley. We didn't even looked inside the actual restaurant. Good service, good food, reasonable prices, normal amount of choices on the menu. Only go to this place when the weather permits you to sit in their garden. We didn't try the starters... More

This restaurant was tucked away in a hidden courtyard. They created a fairytale atmosphere with fairy lights and trees. You need to book ahead to get a table outside. My husband liked the square theme in the toilet! The food was excellent and very well presented. There was no tap beer only bottled beer

In the end of July 2014 I visited this restaurant with my friend. We managed to get a table from the garden. The food was delicious, specially beef and dessert. The beef was one of the best I have ever eaten. The service was really good. I will recommend this restaurant. It is good to make a table reservation in... More

We went there after reading all the positive reviews here, but it was very disappointing. The place was really cozy, beautiful garden and beautiful toilets (!), but the food was really.. strange. The meat that was suppodes to be medium-rare was well done, not seasoned at all, like the potatoes. I had the driest brownie I've ever eaten, I left... More

We ate here during a recent trip to Krakow. It was convenient to our hotel nearby, but I would consider it worth seeking out even if you were staying further away. We sat at a table in the courtyard, which was very pretty and quiet. Interesting menu with something for all in our group. We particularly enjoyed the grilled cheese... More
