We care for your health and carefully choose the ingredients for the dishes we prepare for you. Here at ZIELONA KUCHNIA you will find only the green cuisine, just as our name suggests. We only serve the finest selection of vegetables, fruit, organic meat, grain products and so much more. Our location may be new but the building itself, right on the courtyard of the council house nr 8, is over 100 years old.We were simply charmed by the wonderful atmosphere, the beauty and the long history of this place. The building was erected around 1908 and was destined to hold a blacksmith and locksmith business. After the First World War a local print shop was open here for years, and all of Chopin’s works were printed here for the first time in history. Today it is a great place for having a cosy get-together and enjoying yourself in great company.

Great food

Food is delicious, well presented and good value for money. The place is a bit hidden but totally worth to walk a bit far from the main market just to taste what is has to offer. I had a truffle cheesecake and salmon salad and it was just amazing. Totally recommended!

We were 12 ppl who ordered a short menu upfront. There was a special room for us, nicely made and the first impression good. Yet - some of the food was cold, some exceptional, so not really one way. The waiter was a disaster, totally not customer oriented, we felt we were in fact disturbing him - I think he... More

Again, travelling with a group of 16, I had to book this place a few weeks before attending, what a find. I simply looked for the best rated and most highly reviewed restaurants in Krakow and it's no fluke why this is number 6, yes, SIX out of nearly 900! From the moment we arrived, to it's stunning garden area,... More

On the first day of our Kraków trip 2 weeks ago we visited this absolute excellent restaurant. All 3 courses looked great, tasted better. The wine was very nice, all and all the best experience we've had in Kraków that weekend.

Had dinner here tonight and all I can say is what a disappointment. I read such good reviews and was expecting an amazing meal. The starter was very average and the steak was not a good cut of meat and was mostly fat. This resturant is definitely overrated.

Me and my boyfriend were in Krakow a few days ago. After reading all the positive reviews here we decide to visit this place. We got to Zielona Kuchnia around 21:20. I asked the waiter if they have table for two. I was told that unfortunately all tables were taken. Me and my boyfriend look outside and see that none... More

We were staying just across the road from this restaurant - it featured on our hotel's recommended list - can understand why! The entrance is not lit up in lights, it is very understated, entering through a beautiful garden. Tastefully decorated, attentive staff. My wife and I agreed that the fillet steak was probably the best we have ever had... More

We had really nice dinner with my friends here. All the food was marvellous and the best fine dining experience in Kracow. The starters especially were really good!

It's a bit away from the main square but worth finding it. I normally skip dessert but the starter and main course were so nice I couldn't help myself. Excellent food for a reasonable price.

Visited in early May and sat outside. Disappointingly they had not reserved a table as they had confirmed by email a week earlier. But we got a table anyhow as we were quite early out. Calm and relaxing atmosphere in a quiet garden. We went for the scallops for starters, and duckbreast as the main course. Food was truly delicious!... More
