If you are in Kraków and want traditional food in fantastic surroundings at a price the locals pay then this is the place to eat. We actually ate here on several occasions during our stay to Kraków and I have already recommended the place to many people including my manager and her travel agent fiancé who are looking forward to... Loved the ambience/Food/ Highland Folk Music! Just Loved it! We ate here 3 times in our 4 days in Krakow. We are absolute foodies, and probably spend too much money and time obsessing about food. Generally eat too much for our own health! But I must emphasise how much we enjoyed our time here. I am half Polish and used to... More

The food in the restaurant was poor, highland goulash with potato pancake was tasteless, pancake was not crispy but limp and oily and food was barely tepid. Baked trout was uncooked (how on earth you can fail to cook a trout properly is a mystery) and took 35 minutes and two reminders to get a replacement. Staff were by their... More

We went to Morski Oko on our first night in Kraków and loved the place. Delicious steak and chicken skewers and the Apple pie for dessert was perfect! We returned for lunch a couple days later and then one night went in for cocktails! The price is amazing (3 course meal with wine £12-18!) and the atmosphere is fantastic. There's... More

I read nice reviews and I looked for it, worried it may have been that kind of restaurant for tourist, it was full of us indeed. It looked very welcoming since we first enter the place, well organized, funny Polish folk live music, very picturesque and very tasty with well presented dishes. The wild boar meat, I was really looking... More

Great Polish restaurant which aims to recreate the mountain spirit of Zakopane - lots of primitive furniture and waitresses in traditional dresses, and live music. The food is good and plentiful. Good atmosphere.

You have to book for this restaurant as it is very popular. I booked online directly with the restaurant and got an immediate response. It was my second visit and the polish food and folk music in the cellar restaurant were just as good. It is reasonably priced too and the service is good! Thank you!

This nice looking restaurant located in the old town. Staff was friendly, food was fairly okay and strong vodka was superb. Good value for your money.

In Krakow for work so I ate here alone at 1 of the tables overlooking a nice square. The menu is a carnivore's delight but there are good veggy options too. I had the highlander potato pancake with beef stew & goats cheese & it was delicious. They had some interesting looking vodkas but I'm a beer head so I... More
