In our last night in Krakow four of us happened upon this wonderful Polish restaurant. The food was plentiful and excellent. The wait staff spoke very good English and the service was top notch. From our table upstairs we could see water fountains in the square across from the restaurant. The whole experience here was a great ending to our... More

We wanted to experience a traditional Polish meal on our last night in Krakow. So glad we found the Morskie Oko restaurant! We sat upstairs at traditional wooden tables with a view of the lighted fountains across the square--magical! The food was delicious and served on carved, wooden rectangular plates--lovely presentation. Yummy food too! It was absolutely the perfect ending... More

Ate in this beautiful restaurant on the last night of our stay in Krakow, the restaurant had a great atmosphere, amazing traditional food and decor - felt like i was in the mountains. Not very far from the main square and decent prices. Had the dumplings, goulash with potato pancake as well as puddings. Our waitress Monika was a star

Visited here on our last night and it was great, we have been lucky on our trip to krakow and never had a bad meal. I started with home made black pudding, was very nice and that's saying a lot as I own a butchers in the uk and also make my own, my wife went for prunes wrapped In... More

Loved the traditional feel. The food was great, service was attentive and at the end of the day the dinner was great value for money

Ate here twice in five days and had great food, good service and very modest prices. The standout dish for me was the goulash served on a sort of pancake - very tasty and very filling. Also had an excellent cocktails and beer. Nice spot to eat on square if you can get a table (inside can be hot).

The main dining area is located downstairs. So wheelchair a big no. But dining area is tastefully decorated to its local culture. Meal was excellent! I do love the ravioli like pasta - pirego kapusta. Folk music and the Polish dancers authentic. Service was definitely perfect.

We ate at this restaurant twice out of 3 nights in Krakow. Great food, great location on a quiet square overlooking fountains. Superb service, with happy helpful staff. Each night we sat down and we were looked after straight away. Went to another restaurant in the main square and service and food was terrible. Waited for ages for anyone to... More

We had dinner here twice on our holiday and it was fantastic both times! The soup is amazing and the traditional polish cuisine was the best we had while in Poland. It is very cheap and the staff are nice. The cocktails are good too! Definitely visit!!

Krakow main square is packed with a multitude of restaurants/cafes/bistros all clambering for business, however, moving just a short distance away from the main throng is Plac Szczepanski where Morskie Oko is found. It was busy, but this was not surprising, as the food and drink were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was lively, with a folk band playing at... More
