So good we ate here twice

Morskie Oko is a great restaurant located just off of the main square in a cute little plaza. Every single thing we ordered was delicious and the pierogi ruskie were the best that I have eaten in Poland. The dough so was light! We also ordered the kielbasa, pork cutlet, tomato soup, chicken kebabs... read more

Good food with both Polish and Int. menu. Restaurant for both tourists and locals. Tourists inside and locals outrside. Nice interior, but we preferred the outside where people gathered.

It was the only place which was working late. Polish traditional soup and... More

If you can't make it to the mountain town of Zakopane to actually eat in a log cabin steak house there, or hike to the famed Morskie Oko, then you can come here and almost feel like you did. The food is good, the service is nice, and the atmosphere downstairs feels like you are in Zakopane. But from someone... More

First visit to Morski Oko was amazing. We ordered double mains and absolutely loved the food. Second time around though was a little different. Food was again amazing but service was slow. I ordered the cheese cake and it was well below par. It tasted like a slab of 10 day old chalk. When I spoke to the waitress she... More

If you don't like meat, go somewhere else, but if you do then this is the place ;). (They do have good vegetarian dumplings though) We had a special of Polish dishes which came on a big wooden tray and some had the pig knuckles. We were 8 people and everyone was happy with their choices. Be aware that salad... More

Visited Morskie Oko twice. First time I visited with my parents and we were very impressed. The food was delicious - traditional polish cuisine. The only thing we found a bit rude was the waiter asking at the end wether we want to add the tip to the card?! I'm sorry but you just don't ask for the tip :/... More

Visited here as part o a group and was not disappointed - the food was fantastic and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. I had a started of prunes wrapped in bacon which was divine. Followed by a (very) large steak cooked simply and to perfection. I will definitely be back here on my next visit to Krakow.

Quite common cafe from the outside and another world from the inside - this was my first impression. Authentic tasty polish cuisine, delicious draft beer, national polish music - all this components combined and mixed all together in a wonderful timespending multiplied with friendly and profesional staff. If you are willing to take a bite of polish culture - this... More

Traditional cuisine from Zakopane situated in the center of the city . It was a pleasure the gratinated cheese from the mountains (Oscypek) and many other traditional Polish dishes. We went there twice in three days. Overall I loved the traditional polish music!! If we came back that would be our first stop.
