Ate here with the family. We had a difficult time getting in, but I'm glad we kept trying. We sat downstairs not far from the band playing traditional polish music. The wait staff is in full costume. The food was traditional polish dishes. The pricing was fair. My son though they had the best pierogies in Krakow. It was fun... More

We had a 5 person meeting of high school friends there last night. We sat downstairs and it felt great. Drinks arrived quickly, food was good. Prices were fair. Service was very good. Will go there again.

It was very cold outside but we found this restaurant, it does not look much from the outside. It seemed that it was empty but then you go downstairs to a beautiful little polish oasis. Friendly service and great polish traditional food. The meals are massive and great value. They also offer many types of local wodka. The polish sausage... More

Ate here on our last night in Kraków and it didn't disappoint. We had the polish sausage to start which was amazing, washed down with a hot beer. I had hunters sirloin steak wrapped in bacon and it was cooked to perfection and with a side of traditional fried cabbage was amazing. My frien had the rolled pork fillet with... More

This restaurant serves excellent traditional Polish mountain food (from the Podhale region) in a highly decorated environment. For the richest experience, make sure you get a table in the basement where you can sit on sheepskin covered benches next to a waterwheel and small pond with fishes. The service is warm and friendly and they speak excellent English if you... More

It's been actually a nice surprise because in a touristic place like this I was expecting not exceptional kind of food but I have to admit the goulash soup was outstanding The meat was tender and it was full of flavor Its actually very nice traditional restaurant, it doesn't look big but there is quite large space in the base... We were a group of 5 adults and had dinner there. Tons of charm in the "basement" Don't be put off by the ground floor, the main room is below. We had live traditional music, which was very nice indeed. Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour to be served, which rather spoiled the evening. Polish food was rather bland... More

Excellent atmosphere - sitting on a lambskin - quince vodka - not to be missed - plus live music on weekends - makes for a lasting impression

We ate here as a party of 10, having pre-booked for a Saturday evening. A traditional Polish hotel with some staff in national dress and live music during the evening. We enjoyed a selection of starters, main courses and desserts together with beers and vodkas. The traditional Polish soup (with sausage, egg and potatoes) was particularly good. I also had... More
