We have dined at this restaurant on many occasions, and it never fails to delight. The atmosphere is very traditionally Polish, with pine decor throughout, and staff in national costume. There is a wide-ranging menu from which to choose, and included are such meats as wild boar. Whether travelling with friend or on our own, we always make a point... More

The first impression was: a small, cozy restaurant in Highlanders style. Definitely NOT small: there are cellars for dozens tables... So the time to wait to be served was a bit too long. But all was fresh, tasty and nice presented however the plates were not overloaded ;-). The waiters were kind and English spoken. Nice place to go, worth... More

We liked the restaurant so much we ate there twice. Menu: there is a lot of variety on the menu and there wasn't anything we tried that we didn't like (there were 7 of us). In particular we enjoyed the kielbasa which was fantastic (and enormous). They also have a great selection of local beers and vodkas. Staff: the staff... More

If you would like a taste of the folksy side of Poland, reserve a table here. Great food, great atmosphere and some absolutely fabulous lemon vodka! Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we're so glad they did we had a really fun evening.

Waiter insisted on our ordering some starters we didn't really want, including bringing (and charging for) one we said we didn't want, then forgot two things we did order. Nonetheless, delicious, affordable and in a memorable setting, with sheepskin on the benches.

In our last night in Krakow four of us happened upon this wonderful Polish restaurant. The food was plentiful and excellent. The wait staff spoke very good English and the service was top notch. From our table upstairs we could see water fountains in the square across from the restaurant. The whole experience here was a great ending to our... More

We wanted to experience a traditional Polish meal on our last night in Krakow. So glad we found the Morskie Oko restaurant! We sat upstairs at traditional wooden tables with a view of the lighted fountains across the square--magical! The food was delicious and served on carved, wooden rectangular plates--lovely presentation. Yummy food too! It was absolutely the perfect ending... More

Ate in this beautiful restaurant on the last night of our stay in Krakow, the restaurant had a great atmosphere, amazing traditional food and decor - felt like i was in the mountains. Not very far from the main square and decent prices. Had the dumplings, goulash with potato pancake as well as puddings. Our waitress Monika was a star
