Service was very good. Enjoyed the food including Pierogis and duck. The best dish was the Prunes Wrapped in Bacon. Food gets 8/10.

We came to this place after reading its glowing reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed-it was amazing! The food was the best I think we have had on our whole stay in Krakow and the service was fantastic. I couldn't recommend the duck any more, it was so good! The free, homemade vodka was also very welcome.... More

We turned up at Starka quite late to eat, but never felt hurried. It's dimly lit, but this is the norm in restaurants in Poland. We shared smalec to start with, which was absolutely delicious. We followed this with the duck in a red wine sauce, and I had the rabbit in a creamy wild mushroom sauce. The only observation... More

This restaurant is located in an trendy area of Krakow. I ate a duck breast with raspberry sauce and it was wonderful. My husband asked for a pork neckle and also loved it. Price is good, about 15 euros per person with beer.

Following reading various reviews about this restaurant we thought it was worth a visit. It appears to be a typical small polish restaurant with a bohemian atmosphere, we were made extremely welcome by the waiter that spoke very good English, the menus were written in Polish and English and so easy to follow. My husband had the duck with red... More

Went following a Trip Advisor recommendation. It is good and a little different - a bit more Polish that most restaurants but still with plenty of typical European dishes. We were in the dark red room ate back - nice atmosphere but dark and hot. Unfortunately there was a large very loud group of Poles eating when we arrived -... More

Decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of trip advisor. It was only a few hundred yards from our hotel, we were not disappointed. The first time I had fillet steak, cooked exactly how I like it. The waiter was really good fun, started off with bread basket, we didn't have dessert as we were full but had a... More

We were wandering through Kazimierz on our second night in Krakow and I recognized the name of the place from Tripadvisor so we decided to take a look. The restaurant was very quiet and the service was prompt. Charming waiter had excellent English and made us feel very welcome. The menu is extensive and on the first night I had... More

We went on Trip Advisors' recommendation but after one step inside we turned back. The recorded music was really too loud

Menu was varied, food cooked to perfection and service not intrusive. I had the pork knuckle and it was the best crackling I've had in years. Only thing it needs is air conditioning! Struggled to finish main meal due to how hot and restricting it felt in the restaurant. It was cooler outside! Still recommend it though. Brilliant food.
