Great food, busy place

wide choice of food, plenty of it! We chose the day's special of Pork chop on potato, with grated red cabbage and coleslaw, which was all delicious and served in generous amounts. No desserts for us! The wonderful wood-fired oven cast a much needed warmth as we entered. The staff were friendly and... read more

The dishes are very similar to our Ukrainian cousin, it weren't something special for me. But everything was tasty and I like the atmosphere inside. Thanks for compliment from chef while we were waiting for main dish.

The place was recommended to me by a cousin. I did not get there from the first time - it was full. But a very nice waitress with good English asked me to come a bit later, in about half an hour. When I came the second time the group of Italian tourists was leaving the restaurant, so I was... More

Loved the decor of this restaurant with its pizza oven and homely trimmings. Hot bread from the oven was provided as a starter, good range of drinks, very cold beers. I had the potato pancakes with mushroom sauce, came on a platter huge serving far too much for me and I thought I was hungry! Taste okay, would I order... More

I eat there many times, lunch or a la carte and you will find really nice polish kitchen, cooked on the place, and not frozen. The dishes are really polish and with nice taste. The service is nice and efficient, they speak english and the place is nice, polish style. I can recommend this place without problem

I read about this restaurant in a review in the Daily Telegraph only days before I went to Krakow. The journalist suggested the food was as good as one of the top Krakow restaurants, but at half the price. From my experience I could believe it was. I loved the interior of the restaurant, and the balance of locals and... More

The food is simply outstanding! Get the traditional plate with the mix of polish food! It can be a lot for one person! Order a polish beer with it, that's the perfect combination. In the end they give you a shot of vodka! It can be a little bit expensive, but it is amazing!

Stumbled upon this place while wandering around off the main square and loved it. The pierogis were lovely and slightly fried which is always good and the pork escalope with egg and cheese was fantastic. All of the above washed down with lashings of hot wine. The do their own oven baked bread with garlic butter which is amazing. We... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by a Polish friend and very glad we went. First impression, it's warm, cosy & has a rustic feel. Huge pizza oven, pots & pans hanging everywhere, chequered tablecloths & earthenware floors. The food is not fancy, it's well cooked and plentiful. We noticed the huge serves so decided to only order a main... More
