We were recommended to this restaurant by a Polish friend and very glad we went. First impression, it's warm, cosy & has a rustic feel. Huge pizza oven, pots & pans hanging everywhere, chequered tablecloths & earthenware floors. The food is not fancy, it's well cooked and plentiful. We noticed the huge serves so decided to only order a main... More

Nice little restaurant with smell of wood burning oven. Tried local polish meats on platter. Food was good, would go again, although nothing special or out of the ordinary.

Had a three course dinner with a group of colleagues. The meal took more than three hours, just getting the first course took over an hour and a half. The food was over cooked and tasteless, the house wine tasted like vinegar. Several people in our group had special dietary needs (gluten and lactose free, no pork etc) and the... More

We are the polish speciality set menu for 4. It was absolutely fabulous. However the quantity was enormous. There was enough food for 4 hungry blokes! The house wine was good but overpriced. After dinner we then tasted the generous portion vodkas. Overall very friendly. Service very attentive and spoke good English. Decent value considering what we had.

Good selection of food which was good value and tasty. Good decor but stank of smoke from the wood stove. Enjoyed our evening meal.

The only thing older than the kitchen was the food. Taste like warmed up left over TV dinners that had been setting out for a few hours. There is an old oven when you walk in but only used to heat up the already hot restaurant. Don't be fooled thinking it's "authentic" polish food.

Great food and drinks ! Unfortunately, their visa machine did not work that night so i had to use up the rest of my Polish cash and it definitely restricted me for the next day.

We ate here on our first night during our recent visit to Krakow and enjoyed it so much we returned on our last night. The food is plentiful and well cooked. It doesn't have the finesse of some other places but this is made up for by the lovely surroundings, both inside and in the covered courtyard. The trout was... More

Came here 3 1/2 years ago in Winter and were pleased then. This time its early summer and the place was a joy to revisit. Last time, they spoilt us with home made rose vodka. We asked about that and were told they were doing something different this time. Lemon vodka, home made and delicious. Lovely courtyard, service and food... More

Service was very well carried on - and in good English. They've provided me with a menu in English and a lot of help concerning the dishes' descriptions.
