Great tasting menu, exceptional value

The six course tasting menu gives a tasty twist on Polish food. For 99zloty (around £20) you are treated to a variety of dishes and vodka. I think it was the best value meal I have ever had, in a comfortable setting with friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

Very nice spot right by the town center. Excellent dishes. We had a good time here. They have authentic dishes with dish display.

It was a long day with a trip to Auschwitz and then shopping. It was wonderful to end the day in such a great place. The service was excellent and the ambience was very relaxing. I had the sirloin which was a fillet. Beautifully cooked and served with the best roasted vegetables I have ever had. My wife had the... More

The menu options have reduced, especially the Tasting Menu, as there is now only one on offer. However it is good and standards are high.

This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our apartment and we are so grateful! There were 4 of us eating here and we came late so got the option to sit in the courtyard, which was lovely. The two men in our group got the taster menu and they thoroughly enjoyed it all- even the vodka shots half way... More

We tried the tasting menu, which was excellent, and at 99zl each (less than £20) very good value. We had: beef tartare with a Parmesan crisp; sour soup with bacon, fried potato and a quail's egg; baked goat's cheese with beetroot and bitter greens; 3 flavoured vodkas, all different, all delicious; duck breast with pearl barley; and a deconstructed apple... We were so delighted to find the Aperitif and ate here almost every day of our holiday. All the food is good but you must try the steak, best I've ever had I think! They call it sirloin but really it's fillet and you could even have it with mustard ice cream if you like!

We visited here on our first night in Kraków - it's made it hard for every restaurant we've visited since - where they up to Aperitif standard !! Great food - the Polish tasting menu was fantastic ! , excellent service - do yourself a favour and have a meal here !!

We went for an all-girl trip to Kraków & for our last dinner in this historical city we chose Aperitif, because it has a good price & looks like a nice small restaurant.. Turns out it was a great decision! Aperitif has this homey feeling thanks to its nicely-done interior. We sat on the semi-outdoor smoking area which was really... More

We ate at the Aperitif twice during our stay in Krakow and the food was excellent. However I would advise to go when the restaurant is quieter as they can't seem to cope well when they are busy.
