Apple cake, apple cake bakers man!

Apologies - thought I would just modify the first line from a nursery rhyme for the title. Located in the old Jewish quarter, this is a popular location for folk to father and eat. We went at a quieter time and enjoyed the relaxed feel of the place. Love the decor - and the apple cake. Polish... read more

The restaurant was just around the corner from our apartment, so we decided to check it out. The food arrived at our table and was of a higher quality than we were expecting. Pizza's were large and the the bowls of pasta were even bigger! Definitely good value for money.

We stopped for coffee and dessert at this great place. Atmosphere was lively but relaxed . The bar area was interesting -made out of a couple of grand pianos including the keyboards! The main courses looked hearty and service was very quick and staff friendly . We will defiantly return .

Looked ambient. But the worst Italian food ever. To begin we ordered a merlot wine from the menu that turned out to be a rose . They refused to change the wine. The spaghetti we ordered was inedible. Tasted like it came from a tin The pizza was undercooked and topped with tinned jalapeño and lumps of raw garlic. Give... More

We found this wonderful café / bar while we were wandering around the superb Kazimierz District. We had already been to several great pub's in Place Nowy and decided to pop into here for a quick beer. The café/bar was outstanding ,nice furnishing's and decorated tastefully throughout,i loved the look of the musical instrument's hanging on the wall's and ceiling.... More

When on a night out in the Kazimierz area of Krakow we came across this informal cafe which has a good range of Polish beers on offer in a nice relaxing atmosphere. When here we ordered a couple of pints of Polish beer at a very reasonable price and settled down in this wonderful cafe which has a kooky interior with... Just returned from 3 days in Cracow. Arrived on Sunday night and all other restaurants in the area closed. What luck to find this gem! Fantastic food, friendly staff , huge portions and excellent value. We ended up eating there on 3 occasions.

Although the waitresses (if they can call themselves that) were nice, the service was outrageous and horrible. The worst experience I have encountered. First of all, when our starters arrived I found that my Camembert cheese was just an empty shell. Fair enough - accident when cooking. But... While I was still waiting for my starter, and my fiance was... More

Go here. Have the risotto. Enjoy the very very affordable prices, the friendly staff, the great atmosphere and the cool decorations.
