One of the best!

On a 4 day trip to Krakow I stayed in the Hotel Kazimierz and looked around the immediate area to find a restaurant for an evening meal. Luckily I found Szara Kazimierz! Everything about this restaurant is excellent: menu, decor, and most of all friendly and efficient service. I had intended to try... read more

We went for an early lunch - about 12.30. The staff were really lovely and accommodating, but there was just a strange smell, which unfortunately put me off my food. I got a seafood pasta dish which was okay, and my friend got the dumplings which were to neither of our tastes.

This is clearly a cut above the very touristy places on the other side of the square, with a very pleasant dining room, but the food didn't live up to the expectations this created. I had a decent duck confit, but my partner's salad was disappointing- with some atrocious avocado which really shouldn't have been allowed out of the kitchen.... More

This was the first restaurant my wife and I found on our first visit to Krakow in March 2015, it looked inviting so we went in and were greeted by a lovely waitress and immediately given a table. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and certainly lots of it. All the staff were so friendly and attentive which also... More

As two couples we walked in without a booking and were found a table immediately in a fairly busy restaurant. The food was very well presented by pleasant staff and thoroughly enjoyed by all four of us. Well recommended.

I tried the Leg of duck confit as a main and Frog legs and Goat Cheese as started, the size of the dishes is quite good, however the service could be some times slow, the wine list was good , but it could be better. My friend asked a Jewish Dish and presentation of the dish was good. I recomend... More

We visited this restaurant after seeing a review in a free guide we had in hotel. There are two of the same restaurants, one on the main square and the one we visited in Kazimierz. We were greeted warmly by the staff who were very attentive but not over-bearing. It was quiet while we were there but it was a... More

There is a special deal on two course lunches for 29 pzl I think. This includes soup, we had the White asparagus very good, and a mains, I had pasta and my husband had the ox tongue which he said was the best meal he had in Krakow. House wine was very good. Service was top notch. Would have gone... More

We ate here last night as it was just round the corner from our hotel and looked good. I am always suspicious when a restaurant is pretty empty and I should have gone with my instincts. We ordered the Beef Tenderloin which was far from tender and overcooked. It was accompanied by duchess potatoes which sat on the plank like... More
