We had dinner here yesterday. We ordered; perogie, tripe soup, bigos, and the "polish plate" which had a taste of several Polish dishes; pickles, zrazy, potatoe pancake, potatoes, beef roast, blood sausage, and cabbage roll. The soup was pretty good, but all the other food was served cold, and pretty tasteless. The cabbage roll was all rice (it's supposed to... More

No disrespect intended: the people could not have been nicer--they even gave us complimentary smalec. The setting was a bit overdone considering that this restaurant faces one of the most distinguished squares in all of Europe. Portions were almost overwhelming, but we would rather have had better quality than quantity. Having grown up Polish American, I knew that this cuisine... More

We were 3. The restaurant is decorated in a nice authentic way. About the food: The mushroom soup was like water with a little flavor. The beef soup had no meat, only fat. After one taste of the beef soup, we requested for something else but they refused to take it of the bill so we paid for it though... More

Okay, the decor is over the top. It tries way too hard to be a rustic restaurant maybe a 100 meters from the main square in Krakow. The primitive benches and tables, the farm implements on the walls are too much. But the food is very good and the prices are quite reasonable, particularly given the short distance from the... More

We (a party of four) visited this place in Octoer 2012. Two of the reasons we went there were; it gave us a chance to sit out (anf the next few days were to be bad weather) and because it is a Polish restaurant serving Polish food. We were perusing the menu and had decided to share 2 starter plates... More

Looking for a place to eat and we stumbled across this restaurant. It seemed rather out of place in the main market square and yet, considering it is a Polish restaurant, it really shouldn't! I had the grilled sausages which just tasted amazing! We sat down and where immediately attended to. Soon after taking our order they, unexpectedly, served some... More

Is shame to see this restaurant going so rapidly down. They have as a flag dish soup in the bread and guess what bread is not available on 3 occasions we have been there. Twice we were not served things it supposed to be in the dish according to menu. Service was ok but lack in passion, even the waiter... More
