We stumbled across this restaurant by accident. The word Pod refers to "below" so that help find other establishment later. We were made very welcome and the staff worked very efficiently. The menue is quite extensive and provides for all tastes. Overall a nice place and great value.

this place sucks - i went based on reviews from Tripadvisor and am very surprised that it had such good reviews. The good is NOT traditional Polish or Eastern European. For a reataurant located in the square, this is a great spot at reasonable prices. The food was very good, especially the goulash in bread bowl. Waitresses hustled and got our large group served efficiently. Good Zwyiec on tap as well.

We stopped at this restaurant several times for refreshments. The setting on the main square makes it attractive and the decor and furniture add to the ambience. The hot chocolate was particularly noteworthy as well as the cake! It is also open until late at night.

The restaurant which is accessed down some steep stairs has a more varied menu than the cafe located at street level. Good plentiful food at very reasonable prices, likewise the wine and beer, all served by delightful staff. A second visit qualifies for a 10% discount on production of a voucher. This is a great place to eat.
Great atmosphere.
Great value.
The restaurant is down under the main square.
Careful down the oddly pitched stairs. When your in get seated and order from the good and varried menu. Great Polish food.
Excellent prices. Plus they give you a 10% voucher for you're next visit.

We always go down to the lovely basement area where the menu is more comprehensive than the street area. The foods is always good & so is the service. Our favourites are the goulash in bread vase and the burning fillet of beef. Prices are very reasonable as well.
