What to say, besides everything was great! I loved it; food, service and atmosphere was top notch. It´s just a couple of minutes walk from the Main Square and it´s definately worth the short walk.
We have nothing bad to say about this lovely restaurant. We were there in November, arrived without reservation and graciously welcomed. The food was very good, wine excellent and the service very correct - not hovering, but available. Would gladly return to this very centrally located restaurant about 8 minute walk from the main square. Not touristy at all.
We had dinner here and really enjoyed our evening. It's a small traditional restaurant hidden away in a kind of courtyard. While we were there, the owner was giving an evening's wine tasting lesson to a large table of guests. We learnt from the one of the staff that she is a wine expert, and that people come from many... An intimate, warm, and traditional atmosphere combines with great food and good service to produce a first-rate dining experience. I had the seafood tagliatelle and my wife had pork with a green peppercorn sauce. Both were well-prepared and delicious. The sauces were carefully seasoned with subtle combinations of fresh herbs. This was our first visit to Poland, and we fell... More
This was our first meal in our week-long stay in Krakow and what an excellent start to a wonderful week. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to seat us and take our order even though we arrived just after 12:30 and they don't open until 1pm We were very lucky with the weather for late October and it was... Tremendous, tremendous restaurant. Small feel, but great selection. We had the roasted pears, goloush, pierogi, and pork knuckles. All great. Service was friendly, and guitar player in background added to it. Price for two people was under $50. Can't recommend enough.
Our luck with restaurants has been disappointment after disappointment but then you find an outstandingly good one. This is Klimaty Poludina (the name - very loosely translated - means something like "Taste of Southern Poland"). The food was fantastic. I had duck with cranberry sauce and grilled vegetables. My wife raved about the perogis. We enjoyed a bottle of Spanish... More
So good we went two nights in a row. We were well cared for. Honest recommendations were made. The food and wine were good. The vodka selections different each night.
This restaurant was almost next door to our hotel, Best Western Old Town, and it was so good we went there twice, first night and the last night of our stay, as the menu was so tempting. We couldn't believe how good it was for value for 6 of us. I can thoroughly recommend trying here for a meal of... More
Great Food, great people, great ratio quality/price! My advice: try the Polish specialities. My own choice: Duck. Fine wine and marvellous lemon cake. With a Vodka liquor. I was here with a friend. We attended a conference. It was the nicest brunch moment.
