Mandatory for visitors to Kraków

This restaurant should be mandatory for anyone visiting Kraków. Especially if they are hungry (although probably not if they are a vegetarian). I love this restaurant! The food is amazing and generously portioned. They always give you free vodka shots. The decor is fun and authentically Polish. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. You should totally dine here!! I was in Krakow for 2 months and we ate here at least once a week! Great for groups.

This restaurant creates a food hall experience offering an extensive menu of local dishes with a few from the neighbours thrown in. Portions are large so go hungry or don't over order. The gigantic skewer options are presented impressively like a sword on a stand. It was a great experience. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

The portions and beer servings are HUGE. The meat platter for two is good, and we couldn't finish it because of the size. The atmosphere is incredible, almost like a beer hall, kinda noisy and crowded. The waiters and waitresses wear uniforms that look like they date back to a long while ago. A very charming place! In the toilets... More

You need to work up the right appetite for this. The food is delightful and the portions are enormous. The place is fun for a large group of friends, as it is quite casual and rowdy. http://the-other-f-word.com

Like travelling back in time , quirky interior , odd outfits worn by the staff but the size of the food portions coupled with the 1 litre glasses of the local beer and a final bill of less than £20 for 4 of use makes this place a winner. Massive meat skewer and portions of ribs are great value and... More

I was recommended to visit this place on my recent trip to Krakow and boy was I glad! The food and staff were incredible. Only reason this place doesn't get a full house from me is that they only accept Visa and cash which is a little inconvenient and when I paid via cash I didn't get any change on... More

We ate in this restaurant after a recommendation of a Polish friend and were not disappointed. After about a 10 minute wait to be seated we were lucky enough to be able to sit on the patio. After receiving our HUGE Polish beer, we were treated to a large portion of authentic food. It was hot and delicious. The waitstaff... More

Went here for lunch as recommended by the owners of our apartments, he said it was his favourite place to go for food and atmosphere. As soon as we saw the place we fell in love in a way as there is a conservatory part to the restaurant that looks out on to the side of Wawel Castle and that... More

Very inexpensive but far to much food served per person. In all my travels I have never seen so much food returned. Not because it was bad quality but 1 serving would easily feed 2 people
