A welcoming, art filled Polish restaurant with very good food, wine and service. Reasonable prices for quality cuisine, including a pike-perch entrée which was lighter than many more traditional choices.

This place is aware of gluten free requirements and has a wide menu offering traditional Polish food. Was great to go there and participate in Food that is so traditional in the city.

We had choosen this resturant purely because it was gluten free and we were surprised at just how amazing it was! The resturant itself had an amazing atmosphere and was very warm and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and spoke great English - they didn't even mind when we had a big drink spill! We were given some beautiful... More

Close to Wawel castle, amazingly diversified and long menu, all dishes well prepared, good steak tartar, delicious game and venison made exactly to order, all side dishes fresh and tasty. Restaurant rooms not that elegant but the restaurant is a very good choice, nevertheless. We came twice with company. Good quality, moderate prices, acceptable service quality.

Our experience at dinner this evening could not have been better. The ambiance - old Europe - was delightful; the noise level was low; the waiter, who spoke very good English, was extremely helpful and provided excellent service; and, most importantly, the food was wonderful. All this for the equivalent of less than $60 USD, including wine, for two people.

We have visited this restaurant on previous trips, both for lunch (great selection of traditional soups) and for dinner. Usually make a reservation before we travel but have also arrived without a reservation. Service was excellent and the waiter was extremely helpful with food and wine choices.

Dined her with my wife, my daughter and her college roommate. The atmosphere was somewhat formal but the waitstaff was attentive and professional. The artwork was interesting and stimulated conversation which was fun. The food was at least good and some dishes were excellent. We started with the salad with mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes. This was well prepared and... More

So pleased we booked for this very popular restaurant. We were given a lovely table in a room of 5 tables which were well spread out. Food was excellent on both of our visits with a wide selection of Polish dishes. The service was also excellent, with genuine advice being given.

Very close to the Royal Hotel. I turned up on a busy evening without a reservation but the staff fitted me in without complaint. I had an excellent meal - barszcz with ravioli, beef with horseradish sauce, glass of wine and a sweet for under 100 zloty (£20) - very good value for money.

We picked this place as we were keen to experience some traditional polish food. We had a lovely night. The food was very nice indeed and overall we found it great value for money. The wild boar tenderloin was amazing and the sausage and egg soup in bead was To die for. Also really enjoyed the beetroot side as an... More
