Great food!

Just a short walk from Wawel, this place has delicious food. I had their mushroom cream soup in a bread bowl and it was to die for! One of the best mushroom soups I've had. The place feels just a tad high class and stuffy though. Not exactly a "hip" feel to it.

This was a brilliant evening. I was recommended this restaurant which was fortunate because from the outside ot looks like a transport cafe. We had not booked but were thankfully seated as a couple had not turned up for their reservation, their loss, our gain. The decor is an interesting mix of memorabilia and modern art. I wanted a traditional... More

I've been coming here for the last 15 years when in Krakow and never have complained. Friendly staff, great food and steps away from Wawel Castle.

We went to Pod Baranem on our final evening of our brief vacation in Krakow. We selected the place as it was close to our hotel and had had good reviews from other patrons. We didn't have a reservation but still got a table. Service was excellent from start to finish and our the meal we selected - with recommendations... More

Definitely worth every penny and minute we spent here. We went with our two children and had dish after dish after dish. Fabulous evening in a lovely restaurant. Phenomenal food. Some people mention that it is "upscale" and "expensive" but our opinion is that it is excellent value for the money as such terrific food and we are used to... More

Another fantastic find in Krakow, we were only sad that we didn't have more days to keep going back to try more food! Every day we ate something even more delicious and everyone was just so helpful and nice too. Loved it!

we were recommend to visit this restaurant by a Polish couple we met and we were so pleased we did. We had lunch there but on arrival were treated as though we were dressed up for a special night out. Our waiter was amazing. He was helpful, informative and talked us through anything we needed to know. The food is... More

This is one of the more upmarket and expensive restaurants in Krakow, but the price is reflected in the quality. Our waiter was simply brilliant and really knew his stuff, although it's not surprising as we later discovered he had worked at one of England's top country house hotels. He was attentive, entertaining and made us some good recommendations. We... More

We got here from the recommendation from my mum. The food was great and the service was outstanding. The interior is a bit outdated, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the meal!
