Excellent!

It's a very good restaurant located near Wawel. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, decent coffee. And they really know how to cook meat, gulyash and mushrooms soup. Worth to visit.

Three of us ventured here after a local recommended it to us. We were made so welcome and had real trouble deciding which menu items to have as they all looked so delish. The service was friendly and the waiter took the time to explain items that we did not understand, with great patience. For the three of us, including... More

Visited here due to the Trip Advisor write ups. Was definitely the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Krakow. Great selection, excellent staff and reasonably priced. Far better than (at least one) of restaurants above it in T.A. rankings. You will not be disappointed

Would definitely go back, nice staff, beautiful decor and probably the best food we had so far during our Poland tour. Had pierogis and some red barsch, great salads. Overall 5 out of 5 for great food!

Extra friendly and thoughtful staff. A must for a celiac in Krakow! The food was so good and cheap, could eat there anytime again. I'm on a glutein-free diet and it was well noticed at Pod Baranem, a separate list and all the polish delicaceys availeable as a glutein-free version!

All that really needs to be said about this place is book and see for yourself. I can honestly say it's the best meal I've ever eaten. The staff and the atmosphere is incredible, candle lit and the venue has charm and a great ambience. The prices are even more unbelievable, we had 2, 3 course meals with two alcoholic... More

Our fantastic taxi driver for our stay recommended we try Pod Baranem, and said he recommends it to all his clients as he hears so many good reports about it. We made it on our last night and had an absolutely incredible 3 course meal with drinks for about £25pp. The venison was just fantastic as was the gingerbread dessert.... More

Firstly I can't understand why this restaurant is only number 16. Everything about it was excellent. Firstly the decor. It's a really interesting restaurant with lots to look at and numerous photos around the walls. I find that really interesting. The food was brilliant. We haven't had much luck with good in Krakow and we were getting a bit frustrated... More
