We chose this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews and it was almost as good as described. Nicely cooked food for reasonable prices. The interior is typically Old Polish style, which fits the meals on the menu. Excellent service, waiters are not afraid to give their advice. Maybe they are a little bit pushy for desert. Beverages are a little bit... More

I have invited my partner there for his birthday meal on our trip to Krakow. Both of us couldn't get over the quality of the food! The restaurant is very classy, food absolutely amazing and the staff very professional and friendly. I would recommend the mushroom soup served in bread - you can't describe how good it is! The wild... More

I visited with a few friends and we decided to order and split two types of venison and wild boar. The venison in wild mushroom sauce was spectacular, and I would order that again in a heartbeat without looking at a menu. It was cooked perfectly and worked well with the sauce. The other venison in a wine sauce was... More

We were recommended this restaurant by friends and it certainly is worth a visit if you would like to taste good quality polish cuisine. I had the deer which excellently cooked. Waiters were very helpful, service excellent. Definitely on my list when here again.

I followed reviews from Trip Advisor and tried this restaurant - didn't look anything special from the outside . . . The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was fabulous and it's the best restaurant I've ever been to. The atmosphere was perfect and it was really busy which is always a good sign. Definitely recommend you to... More

Good restaurant, lots of choices. Decided on venison pate as a starter, stuffed duck with fried potato and a beetroot dish. All very good. Was quite full so was not intending to have desert until i saw creme brulee, my favorite. It was amazing.

Lovely staff, we waited a while for the food, but when it came it was great. The owner was very forthcoming about the wonderful art works on the walls. Both venison and boar in juniper jaeger sauce were excellent, Wine list was good with a wide choice, and reasonable prices. Food also not expensive by UK standards.

We both agreed that this was the best evening meal we had during our stay. Very nice atmosphere within the restaurant, which was pretty full. The meat stew in a loaf (two thick slices of bread) starter and sliced chicken fillet main are recommended, as were all of the 'extras' which must be ordered separately. This makes it slightly more... More

Went to this restaurant because of its position on Trip Advisor. What can I say - the food was excellent. We sat down and were brought bread....and lard! A onion, apple & lard pate which was fantastic (not for vegetarians!). We had garlic soup & gravadlax to start (lovely), then vegetarian stew, goulash and wild boar (fantastic). The house wine...
