Well here i was invited and its the top of tops, or the creme de la creme. Do not think its cheap because its not but the food , service, quantity and the way its served is excellent. Beetroot soup , Wild mushrooms and a whole skewer of meat flamed in half a bottle of Hennessy brandy in front of... More

All restaurants in Krakow are cheap. Not sure the cost of this but the four of us typically paid the equivalent of £80 for 2 or 3 courses and a bottle of wine (wine tends to be expensive).

We were staying at the Hotel Maksymilian across the road from this restaurant and was recommended this restaurant by our tour guide Jack from the Discover Krakow tours. The first time we dined it was very busy and a great atmosphere. Between us we had Shrimp Cocktail, soup, Grilled sirloin with rokfor sauce, potato balls and various salads, Gypsy steak... More

The staff are really helpful. The food was amazing. Beautiful little place also. Not likely to stumble on it... But we did... Luckily!

This place was near where were staying and had an interesting menu, so we gave it a go! Food was really good, my wife had the sizzling sword dish, where they flambe the meat at your table! I had the "Zurek" soup and a pork dish, which was delicious! Only downside was we were the only people there, which was... More

Looked for this Polish restaurant on our first night in Krackow after reading reviews of it. Thank you for the directions from the previous reviewer. As already documented this restaurant is perhaps just off the tourist track but was well worth finding. I had a turkey steak in a shrimp sauce with curry rice, wild rice and green beans. My... More

Went to this restaurant on our first night in Krakow after reading reviews and were glad we did. It is outside the main tourist areas, about 10mins walk from the main square but easy to find, directly opposite the Hotel Maksymilian on Karmelicka. Excellent food, great service, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Had their signature dish, meat, fruit and... More

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, hidden away down steps below street level, we sampled some of the best food of our trip. 'Flaming sword', is a sight to be hold, with several cuts of meat cooked, then flambe' on a sword. Would advise not to start a meal with a starter, as you will never finish your... More

We were lucky to find this restaurant near to the apartment we were renting. What a discovery! In a beautiful building (down via a courtyard off Karmelicka Street) it is a real taste of Poland. Not gimicky touristy or overpriced. Just good Polish food, warm staff and a real treat. Very reasonably priced yet a classy dining affair. They provided... More
