We called in a reservation from our hotel, and still we were seated right next to the toilet. The waitresses were friendly and cute in their matching dresses, but when a large party of what we assume to be locals poured in, the tourists (us...) just had to wait. I always expect service, but I were especially dissapointed with this... More

After scouting TripAdvisor for a restaurant near our hotel, we decided to book a dinner at Jarema. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't all we hoped for. We were seated right outside the toilets, which was a downer. But we didn't care that much about that. The interior of the restaurant is inviting, and the waiters' dresses match the interior beautifully. Unfortunately,... More

Some of the best quality food we were served in a week in Kraków, and really good value. The girls are fantastic and the service superb.

in 15 years , i have tested lots of restaurants in Poland, serving real polish food, but this one is the best, till now; they have a large variety of plates, and they serve home made food; recommended by 'guide michelin' we took barszcz ukrainsky and barszcz koldu , excellent; and after 'gulasz z dzika' ( wildboar goulash) excellent ,... If you are looking for causal Polish food, this is a little bit more high class. They don't just have Polish food, but Russian and Ukrainian food as well.

The food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. The inside of the restaurant had lovely decorations. The waitress did not seem very personable--but perhaps that was the language barrier. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would recomment this restaurant.

Jarema Restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel front desk, and they made a reservation for us that tuned out to be a good idea as the place was full for dinner. Smaller, authentic local place and the service was friendly and fast. Duo was playing the piano and violin during the meal. Both of us had the perogies... More
