Good place to enjoy a Traditional meal

Went there with dw + kids on a Saturday. The food was all good. My son has been reading Asterix books so he was excited to eat wild boar. We had a pieorgie sample platter that was good and the soups were good as well. Service was fine and the price seemed quite reasonable. We enjoyed it and... read more

There are not so many restaurants in Szczecin, so i did come back. We held this years company christmas dinner at Chata. We had ordered roast chicken as a main course for everyone (had to be Christmas themed...), and free choice of starters and desserts from the menu. We were seated by ourselves in a quite nice side room. Service... More

this restaurant is fun and is like going back to the sixties. The other reviews dont stress that this is actually more like a dance club with loud music.lots of locals enjoying themselves. However lets come to the food.Huge portions and not expensive, but!!,also not very good .

Chata is the first place i ever dined in Szczecin, 12 years ago. It was recently restaured and has lost a lot of its charm. The food is solid Polish country cooking, but the menu lacks the specialty items you would expect to find in a "karczma/Inn" setting. No wild boar, lamb or rabbit.

I visited "Chata" restaurant during lunch time and I was kindly surprised that since new owner has taken over this place it diverted into bustling restaurant, located nearby the most popular shopping centre in town "Kaskada". As me and my three friends got in we were impressed by the photos presenting old Szczecin. Staff was very friendly and a waiter... More

Very average place with very average food, service average too. Better to go opposite to Brama Królewska Pub if you looking for place to eat and drink in this area.

Mmmmmm, we had such a fantastic meal here, and it didn't cost the earth! Don't be put off by the entrance!...we were just about to walk away after reading the outside menu as it consisted of 4 dishes, when a young Polish lad happened to come out for a cigarette. He heard us discussing alternative restaurants and in his moderate... More

Food was excellent, the staff was very nice and the price was reasonable. It seems as if it was once a bomb shelter and can give you a closed in feeling after awhile. So, not much of a view but was well worth it.
