Serious brew pub with decent food in pleasant surroundings

Looks and feels like brew pubs the world over: bare brick, copper vats and exposed pipework. The building is a converted barracks and the bar is themed as a post-war office with furnishings and decor to match. The food is hearty and the portions generous, three starters between two people was a... read more

Quite nice experience with the beer tasting. The dark beer is heaven, the wheat is OK, and the pils is quite awful. (my opinion, but I am not the biggest beer drinker) But what I saw on the table next to us is what will make me go back there next time to eat. It looked like pork meat with... More

Beer is very nice, food delicious. I would only suggest the waiter to smile more and be more open to the clients

Really nice, local place not to be missed. Fine service and big serwings! Try the local food, ask for guidance if needed. Dark lager is great, 1 liter is not too much - if you are a bit thirsty.

I was very disappointed there. Place looks very nice that's the only plus. Beer was pretty average. But the biggest disappointment was the food. We some starters and mains. Salat with salmon was unbeatable. Salmon was very bad and dry. Avocado was so hard that you couldn't eat it. We called the waiter and told her that. I think she... More

Food here was very simple yet very tasty. My husband and I had lunch here days while staying in the nearby ibis hotel. We found this to be good value for money by our standards. Only negative hard to understand the beer and wine list, wine I ordered very sweet and limited selection.....

My husband and I eat lunch here two days while staying in the nearby ibis hotel. Food was very simple but yet very tasty, we had the egg soup, pork dish and house salad which was very fresh. Atmosphere quaint and cosy.

We stopped in for drinks in the afternoon as we were traveling the "Red Tourist Line" through Szczecin. This restaurant had a lot of character and outdoor seating in good weather. We did not eat but the offerings were very interesting. They seem to offer traditional favorites with a twist and I was tempted to try a few things. Beers... More

If you are not so fan of international chain restaurants and if you are already a bit fed up of looking for Italian restaurants when you are not sure about enjoying the country’s gastronomy, Stara Komenda can be a good choice – it was a polish brewer very well turned into a restaurant. Great native ambience (most clients are Polish).... More
