Browar Stara Komenda is a cross between a pub (with a brewery) and a restaurant. The food is basic but good - we had the steak and the pork filet. We both found the beer lacking. I liked the idea of freshly brewed beer with unusual flavours, it tasted good. The place is quite small and cosy. I dont think I would have chosen it for a dinner but for a quiete pint or a start point for a pub crawl.

I had to wait for 5 minutes at the bar for the waitress to finish bringing dirty dishes before she wold ask me to order. when asked for food, she replied... More

We tasted four different sorts of beer. My favorite is dark lager. The staff is helpful and the food is Nice too. Tradisional Polish food . The atmosphere is super.

3 sorts of beer to choose from, pilsner, dark and wheat! Brewwed on spot and unfiltered. Super beers! The menu is mostly smaller dfishes and snacks, Recommend to try the excellent gullash soup! Healthy portions of all dishes. Cosy small garden in the summertime, indoor also fine rest of year.

Beer was nice and food was good enough for barfood, not somewhere for a gourmet experience but worth a look
