Quality herring and fish dishes at a decent price + friendly staff. Despite of how crowded the place is - service is very smooth and quick. I recommend ordering in the main part - the external bar is not that well managed

Beautiful place just next to sea, place is pretty big and not typical restaurant for foreign customers. However if u come to Sopot,Must to try. Place is busy and usually have to wait to order at the bar around 15-30 minutes ( not table service) . But the most important food is fantastic, especially can recommend fisherman soup, any of... Thank you very much for the male fish. People very much, because you have to wait a bit for a bite of fresh fish. I also recommend Tatra salmon and other entrees. The service could be better exercise, but not bad. Fish is OK.

Fabulously confusing for the first-time visitor, as meals are ordered at one bar but not paid for until you get them, alcoholic drinks at another bar and paid there, hot drinks at another bar and paid for there. You're issued with a plastic disc that lights up like a flying saucer when your meals are ready, when you hot-foot it... More

We had dinner here upon arriving in Sopot based on a tip from the taxi driver that drove us to our hotel. The location is great, straight at the beach. As expected the menu is for 99% fish, no meat dishes available other then some chicken in a salad. For non fish lovers like me a minus but ok. However... More

Went to Bar Przystan with three friends - the best thing is the location and the view that comes with it. The food was good, although not as extraordinary as some other reviewers concluded. My friends had fish which was fine, I had the only veggie option (at least they offer one!) which was pizza, tasted fine. Surely a place... More

Fish soup is great, so is the fish fillet (what they call Dorsz). Portions are sizeable, so bring your hunger with you. The restaurant is a self-service establishment and is mostly packed, so you may need to be patient, especially during the high season. Should I be in Sopot again, I will definitely come back for more.

Been having halibut in Bar Przystan now for over 10yrs ( every time we come to Gdansk ), and it was great and very tasty every single time. They cater for food allergies ( my kids are are allergic to dairy and egg ), service is very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

We've been the Bar Przystan several times and look forward to it whenever in Gdansk or Sopot. I am glad that the first time we were there it was with locals who knew "the drill." You have to order in line, halibut is sold by weight, and then food is picked up in another spot as are the beverages. You... More
