We chose to eat here as it offered authentic polish cuisine and had a cozy covered outside dining area that overlooked the river. For starters we had steak tartare and herring with cream, apples and onions. Both were delicious! We were really impressed with how tasty they were and the value for money. By my last mouthful of steak I... More

One of the many restaurants over looking the river, we chose this one because they had a rather good female singer performing a Nora Jones type catalogue of ballads which created a lovely romantic ambiance, perfect for the location. It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy but the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was... More

The food here was excellent. A varied choice, of traditional Polish and European meals. We paid £22. for a two course meal, and two coffees. The portion sizes were ample

Our group of 5 have visited this restaurant at some time during the day on an almost daily bais since we arrived. Whether for an afternoon beverage or for lunch the service has been good to excellent. Excellent the first two days, but on day 3 there seemed to be new serving staff and even the food seemed to have... More

Had goulash soup that was kept warm on a hook in a small kettle with a candle underneath. Excellent.

A nice and friendly restaurant right by the canal. The terrace is very popular, but I chose indoors, because wished to have an easy time by myself. The food was excellent, service very friendly and quick. Inside the decor was modern and relaxing.

We called in here for morning drinks. It has a heated patio so you can watch the world go by. Good selection of teas and coffees, rather surprised to be charged extra for a tiny drop of milk instead of lemon. The menu seemed to be rather varied and of better value than buying the drinks alone.

Great location overlooking the maritime museum and the ruins of granary island so sit outside if you can. We stopped here for a drink on our first day and had lunch the next in between visiting the different maritime sights. My fish soup was excellent as was hubby's cold herring plate. Service was cheerful and efficient.Good value for such a... More
