Great restaurant!

The staff was professional, friendly and service minded. The food was great. We had salmon tartar, blood sausage, the wild boar and steak cutlets. Everything was very tasteful and well portioned. Prices were decent and we got away with 220PLN for 2 starters, 2 glasses of wine, 2 beers and 2 main... read more

One doesn’t expect much from hotel restaurants: overpriced food for tourists – this is worldwide standard! Fortunately this is not the case of Kokieteria! The food we were served (salad, lamb soup, cod, goose) was really great! I was genuinely sorry swallowing the last piece of my goose … Service – well, the place was almost empty, so we focused... We visited for dinner - choosing a more up market place for special occasion. It was very quiet, with the two of us being the only ones dining so lacked a bit of atmosphere. However, the food was incredible. We both had black pudding with apple to start, then I had goose and my partner had veal. We shared a... More

The dining landscape of Gdansk seems a bit complicated so it took quite a while to “research the market” and make a choice. Our first choice was fully booked and we had to go for the plan B. Restaurant Kokieteria located on the waterfront proved to be just perfect. Interior creates the feel of a highflying dining room in a... More

Small choice of perfect, authentic and fresh meals. Great service and river view. Herring superb, goose great but could have eaten less. Suggest ordering a salad too to get some veggies in.

My partner and I both chose sirloin steak (one medium, one well done ), we were both presented with fillet steaks done to perfection at no extra cost. We then asked for desserts, but were politely informed that the kitchen had closed because we had arrived directly from our flight at close to 11pm. However we were amazed at the... More

Great quayside location offering views across the Motlawa river towards the marina. The menu, which is blessedly short, offers modern, international dishes with more than a nod to local tradition. A starter of black pudding dotted with sharp mustard on a bed of warm sweet apple slices was spot on. Somewhat less so, the mains, which suggest that the kitchen... More

This restaurant is located within a historic area of the city, offering a great view of the river system of the city, as well as the old port buildings. This would all be for nought if the food wasn't up to par, but that is certainly not the case. The food was very good, featuring locally caught fish as well... More

Lovely location right by the river. Comfortable and cool and perfect to watch the world go by. Popped in for lunch, limited menu but what was available was tasty and good quality. It is also very reasonably priced. Service is efficient and friendly.
