We had a lovely steak and goose breast - absolutely top, bettered only by the desserts. I still rate the restaurant with 4 as the price of the wines were too high and the atmosphere was dim. Few guests. But the food was lovely indeed, and a nice waiter,

It was our last night in Gdansk, and by chance we stopped at Kokieteria for a beer and a glass of wine. Seated at the nice terrace outside by the river, we were really charmed by the excellent service by our waiter, who even found a separate chair to put my purse on (this have never happened to me before... Excellent service, a good steak and a very impressive dessert. Really good value for your money. I can't find anything to complain about.

I was staying in the hotel and had a great meal here, the staff were all smiles and spoke perfect English. Beautiful dessert as well!

This restaurant was at the ground floor of our hotel, so we went there several times. The food is great (I especially recommend the goose -- delicious!) and there's enough space that you feel you can have a conversation without having to shout (because your neighbours are also talking). The prices are very reasonable.

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner outside on the terrace. The entrees were updated interpretations of traditional Polish cuisine. The presentation was beautiful and the food was simply delicious. Our waiter attended to our needs promptly. He even provided blankets as the night-time chill descended. You cannot beat the location, on the river, steps away from the famous crane. It's... More

The restaurant is part of the Hanza Hotel which I stayed in. The restaurant is located along the river walk with wonderful views. Food is excellent, prices are reasonable and the wait staff is extremely professional and attentive.

Wife, infant and I had dinner here on a Sunday night, and chose it mostly for its spaciousness (for bringing the baby stroller). The dining room is semi modern boring formal style, and not the place to fall in love. Hotel restaurants rarely are, though. But the food, especially the goose, was simply fantastic. Carpaccio and goat cheese starters were... More

We ate here partly because we stayed at the Hanza Hotel but also because it was just a nice looking place to eat. And we were happly surprised. The menu included a good selection of polish favorites/ classic entrees like white borsch, pierogis, and pork dishes. Prices were also good. Would recommend to anyone.

Situated on the bank of the river, we sat outside for our meal, enjoying the views and watching the world go by as we dined. The service throughout was excellent, and the food was really very good indeed. The starter we all had was black pudding and roast apples: it was superb! It was like a cross between Scottish black...
