Great Pierogi, Weak Service

We were recommended this restaurant by the reception at our hotel. The first night we were here, we arrived at 9:30pm and the wait staff kindly suggested we leave because they were closing at 11:00pm and they were having problems in the kitchen. We came again the second night, this time at 8:00pm... read more

I went there on a Tuesday noon in August - I arrived a 14:00. There were quite a lot of people, but I suppose that's how Tuesdays work in summer in Gdansk. I ordered a soup in bread and dumplings. I wanted to get a mix of pierogi, but that was not possible (even though the pierogi were all availalbe... More

We went solely because we were told these were the best pirogies in town. 8 dumplings later I can tell you unequivocally that is not true. The meat is dry and too ground up, the dough is too firm, everything is greasy, and of the 8 flavors we tried only one was barely passable. The classic pirogies was particularly bad.... More

I had a very bad experience with this restaurant - Service was pretty bad. They said they had no tables but we saw several spare tables inside, and when we checked outside, there was actually a table (and therefore we got it and ate there - which was so unfortunate for us because ...) - We waited more than an... This is a great little place, it was recommended by our tour guide, and lived up to expectations. This is the only restaurant that we went back to, having been determined to try new places each meal!

We ate here last year and the food was really good. But the service was of the worst kind. We went here again this year, and the pierogi was still very good! But the service didn't even improve just a little bit. Terrible service. Didn't seem like they wanted customers at all.

This place was terrible! Barszcz tasted like it was from a packet, the pierogi were overcooked and the filling horrible. We ordered dessert and the cake was uncooked. Don't go here!

We went here on a whim for our last night as we had not tried much Polish food. Slow and inconsistent service, pierogi was okay, never tried them before so nothing to compare to. Took 1hour to arrive. Potato pancakes were good. Wouldn't go again.

As a often visitor of Polish Restaurants , I was a bit disappointed of main course, dumplings. Dry and without taste. Also staff was a bit to friendly how they spoke to my friends. As I heard a lot of this Restaurant, I expected more. Seems old good times of this Restaurant gone.
