Good food, quickly served in bright surroundings

This clean and no-nonsense restaurant has an extensive list of pierogi on its menu, as well as other Polish staples. I chose the spinach and tomato ones first time (excellent) and the Farmers (chicken and dried fruits) the second (a bit dry). The borscht both times was really excellent. The service... read more

We actually went twice because it is cheap, with pleasant surroundings and friendly staff (who actually let me attempt to mangle their language rather than insisting on talking English). The food wasn't inspiring but it was perfectly acceptable, with a slight emphasis on game. I had pork knuckles the first time, which was very good, especially the horseradish sauce. There... More

My boyfriend and I came here for a late dinner. It is one of the few restaurants in Gdansk that continues serving food past 9pm. We ordered the "Grzybowa w chlebie" - which is a mushroom soup in a bread bowl. It is really delicious and I would highly recommend. Afterwards we shared the "Uczła łakomczucha": which is a selection... More

We came to this place upon our tour guide's There is a wide variety of flavors and we were spoilt for choices. Each serving has 8 pierogis and you can split each serving into 2 different flavors. We ordered the cabbage & mushroom, pork, black pudding and the strawberry pierogis (not many restaurants serve sweet pierogis). It took us less... More

Nice atmosphere and nice food, though not really exceptional. Service was brisk, which was fine too - would go again for a quick snack.

Bad example of a simple Polish eatery. Service is hurried but inattentive and inefficient. Soups were not so tasty as we had elsewhere. Menu was eclectic and interior felt fast-foodish. Endless line to the toilet took another point off for the place.

I was not looking for anything special. I came accidentally because of its good location - on the Piwna street (near Dluga street). I was pleased by good prices and quite slowly, but very helpful and nice service. If you come here to eat as much as you can for very low price, you will be disappointed... portions are adapted... Good food. Nice decor. Helpful staff. Not huge portions but quality good. Had a mix of pirogi - they tasted like home made not factory churned out paste so good!

I chose this place because it seemed to have a lot of positive comments on a couple of websites. I must say I expected better food. It was not bad but it certainly was my poorest meal in Gdansk. I ordered barzcz (beetroot soup) and what I got was an empty soup with nothing in it. It was really a... More

I spent a lot of time at tripadvisor to find a place where we will go for our first dinner in Gdansk and this was my first "tripadvisor fan"fail. Awful! They make soup from maggi or something like this and take for this 12 zloty. We ordered flaki and zurek + pierogi (classical one) everything was awful, even pierogi from... More
