Good food and service ok. Has a small outdoor eating area overlooking the street. Good location close to old town. The menu concentrated on wild game so if that is your thing, you'll like it. I preferred the Pierogarnia Stary Mlyn in Torun for its wide selection of vegetarian dishes. They did have a few vegetarian options. It is also... More

One thing can be said about this place; if you are unsure what a translation means exactly, you MUST ask, or you'll end up with food further outside your comfort zone than you'll be happy with. For instance, ordering the 'chicken dumplings' was a mistake - rather than what you'd expect (i.e. dumplings with chicken in them), we ended up... More

In this restaurant we had traditionla pierogy for the first time. I would say that this place is good for money. Portions are big enough and dishes are really tasty. Beside the traditional filling they have original recipies which worth tasting! And the soup Zurek is nice, served in bread.

The Bread Soup is this restaurant is a must as well as the Pierogi platter! One of my favourite dishes I ever had in Poland!

My girlfriend and I chose this restaurant on a whim. We were seated by a very friendly, multilingual hostess, which meant that for once, I could order in English without having to ask my girlfriend to translate for me. We both ordered the Zurek z bulkem, and a dish of pierogi each. It was my first time trying Zurek and... More

This place is all about the pierogi - sort of large ravioli. I thought I'd have the 'little pies'. Hard, dry, uninspiring fillings. The tables around me were wolfing down great plates of lush-looking pierogi. So don't make my mistake.

We arrived at 9.45 and we were told the kitchen closed at 22 o’clock .. therefore very early as many other restaurants in Poland. We, as Latin, don’t understand much this approach But each country has its own rules. Even in a heavy touristic place like Danzig,. So we were forced to choose quickly our menu, pirogy, we were served... More

I can't imagine why anyone would recommend this place as the best place in G'dansk to get pierogi. The inside is clean, nice looking, the chairs are medium level comfortable, and the wait staff speaks passable English (a plus for me in a town where maybe 1% of the people understand English) and that's the majority of the positive aspects... Went there due to being near by where we stayed. Chose Beetroot soup to test due to the cheap cost ( €1 ), was really good - needed a crusty bread to make it excellent, got 2 slices of rye when I asked for bread ( weird ) . Polish dumplings , they were just OK needed a little more... More
