This place is all about the pierogi - sort of large ravioli. I thought I'd have the 'little pies'. Hard, dry, uninspiring fillings. The tables around me were wolfing down great plates of lush-looking pierogi. So don't make my mistake.

We arrived at 9.45 and we were told the kitchen closed at 22 o’clock .. therefore very early as many other restaurants in Poland. We, as Latin, don’t understand much this approach But each country has its own rules. Even in a heavy touristic place like Danzig,. So we were forced to choose quickly our menu, pirogy, we were served... More

I can't imagine why anyone would recommend this place as the best place in G'dansk to get pierogi. The inside is clean, nice looking, the chairs are medium level comfortable, and the wait staff speaks passable English (a plus for me in a town where maybe 1% of the people understand English) and that's the majority of the positive aspects... Went there due to being near by where we stayed. Chose Beetroot soup to test due to the cheap cost ( €1 ), was really good - needed a crusty bread to make it excellent, got 2 slices of rye when I asked for bread ( weird ) . Polish dumplings , they were just OK needed a little more... More

It is a very convenient place to walk to from any point of the Old Town, and the food is fine, but there are a couple of things that I observed with my visits there: slow service unable to deal too many guests at the same time and confusing bigger orders (e.g. a vegetarian received someone's dish with meat), high... We went there for a late night dinner. The place was busy but the service was quite fast. We ate spinach and goose dumplings and they were very tasty. Food was inexpensive too. Recommended.

This is one of those times when we chose the restaurant on the strength of the menu only. It had fish, chicken, pierogies and beer, wine and whiskey. Atmosphere and service were good and the Polish food was average. The flaki or tripe soup was salty and I've had much better and the pierogies were average. If you wanted anything... More

Sometimes is difficult to find a decent restaurant in the Touristic Areas. But well, Tripadvisor helps in doing that decissions a little bit easier. I arrive to this restaurant thanks to Tripadvisor. It is located in one of the most touristic streets of Gdansk. I had a look on the prices of the Pierogi and they look OK (maybe because... More

Nice assortment of pierogie. The Zurich soup in a round loaf of rye was a nice touch. Excellent location ate there more than once.

We had a great meal here . Started with mushroom soup in bread then we shared the dumpling combo with three different dips washed down with lashings of zubrowka ! Can't fault it. Good staff especially the blonde lady who spoke good English . Thank you xx
