Nice place for pierogi!

Went here for a meal after seeing it recommended in the tourist travel guide. I ordered mushroom pierogi and my partner had pierogi ruskie (cheese and potato), both were delicious. I have had pierogi many times before pre - packaged at home but these were far superior, the menu being in English... read more

After being told that Polish dumplings were amazing we decided to try and chose this restaurant because it had a wide choice of fillings. I had mushroom and cabbage, which I actually returned saying I hadn't order minced beef. I was told it was what I had ordered, irrespective of the filling it was meant to be or what I... More

Went there on the reviews from here and was sadly disappointed. I ordered traditional ruskie pierogi and my boyfriend oneswith meat. They tasted fine, not worst I ever tasted, unfortunately it was a bit bland and looked like they were cooked from frozen, so for the money we paid, I was not impressed. It's not really expensive but probably slightly... More

This place is my number one for pierogi, they offer a great selection of this traditional Eastern-European dish. My partner and I ordered sour bread soup and the 8-piece pierogi mix (pork, spinach and cheese, cheese and potato and buckwheat and bacon)- we loved it! The have English, which is very helpful. The food is reasonably priced and the service... More

First visited at lunch time and had the mushroom soup in bread. Returned another evening and tried the pierogi and piecuchy Polish specialities. Good place to try local dishes as the menu is has English translation.

Good food and service ok. Has a small outdoor eating area overlooking the street. Good location close to old town. The menu concentrated on wild game so if that is your thing, you'll like it. I preferred the Pierogarnia Stary Mlyn in Torun for its wide selection of vegetarian dishes. They did have a few vegetarian options. It is also... More

One thing can be said about this place; if you are unsure what a translation means exactly, you MUST ask, or you'll end up with food further outside your comfort zone than you'll be happy with. For instance, ordering the 'chicken dumplings' was a mistake - rather than what you'd expect (i.e. dumplings with chicken in them), we ended up... More

In this restaurant we had traditionla pierogy for the first time. I would say that this place is good for money. Portions are big enough and dishes are really tasty. Beside the traditional filling they have original recipies which worth tasting! And the soup Zurek is nice, served in bread.
