Great traditional choices

Amazingly enough I had a hard time finding a restaurant that had a wide selection of traditional Polish dishes. This place had a huge menu with a lot of delicious choices, the prices were very good and the location was great with a wonderful outside patio. Service was mediocre, but one thing I... read more

We went here on a whim for our last night as we had not tried much Polish food. Slow and inconsistent service, pierogi was okay, never tried them before so nothing to compare to. Took 1hour to arrive. Potato pancakes were good. Wouldn't go again.

As a often visitor of Polish Restaurants , I was a bit disappointed of main course, dumplings. Dry and without taste. Also staff was a bit to friendly how they spoke to my friends. As I heard a lot of this Restaurant, I expected more. Seems old good times of this Restaurant gone.

Don't pop in for a quick lunch! It took 1h 50 min for us to have pierogis and a cup of espresso! Fortunately we ordered a bottle of italian red wine, so we had something to do before our huge portions of pierogis arrived. It would be kind from the staff to tell tourists that the other type of pierogis... More

Food was quite poor in quality. We only had a soup and a pierogi dish, so not many things off the menu. But the pierogi were really oily and the "skin" of the pierogi was rather thick.... And it's supposed to be a place that specialises in peirogi. The glass of orange juice was quite generous, if that helps!

We visited a couple of times during our recent visit. The place was interesting, with seating outside for good weather. The food was good and reasonably priced and, whilst the wait staff were pleasant, they weren't particularly efficient and we were kept waiting for quite a long time for our food and also the bill. We had the baked dumplings... More

Nicely decorated restaurant but AVOID by all means ! Pierogarnia u Dzika serves dry not good quality dumplings, which have nothing in common with traditional ones. We have ordered a variation of 3 different ones and been served different dumplings to one we ordered (of which some were with sauerkraut instead of buckwheat with bacon - we still had sour... More

Very bad service.. Over an hour waiting for 3 plates of dumplings!! Waitress even did not excuse for delay.. And dumplings were not even good, just ordinary. We do not recommend this place at all, especially for foreigners who would like to try polish cuisine.

the worst dumplings in my life - they had nothing to do with the real polish, traditional home made dumplings. They tasted like cooked mud with onion. Moreover - the traditional soup "żurek" that should be served IN bread (instead of plate), was served WITH bread (in a plate). For the same price of course... If you really wanna try... More

Pierogis and zurek (traditional polish soup in a bread) were sooo tasty. We went there two times during our trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was great. Fantastic traditional polish food.
