Recommended by our hotel and worth it!

We went at night time. We'd booked, but didn't need to. It is out 15 min of the old town centre, but we were staying at the Best Western Bonum hotel and it is only 5 min from there (ask at the desk as there is a short cut!). The waitresses were really friendly and there was a lot of... read more

Good hearty food. I liked their selection of winter drinks of mulled wine, beer and tea. The croquette was a little unexpected - turned out to be a deep fried pancake (?!). Good pierogi!

I came here with some colleagues on a week night. The place was more or less empty. The food is alright but rather bland to my taste. We had the mixed pierogis to share - which weren't bad at all. For main I had sausage with cabbage and bread. Quite fatty. When I saw the other dishes arriving, none of... More

Service and food are just fine. Fish was fresh and taste fine. Atmosphere peaceful without any loud music in behind.

Good menu, lovely pierogi and a great selection of beer and other drinks. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English and we really enjoyed our food, plus they gave us cake on the house!

Charming place close to the old town. Great polish food served in modern way and it's plenty of it. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

They have a lunch menu for 16zl from 12h to 16h. We were there on Sunday around 14h and we really liked it. We ordered the mix of meats with vegetables and the food was really nice. We did not waited to much to get our food either. I really recommend this place if you are nearby the main train... More

I have eaten here 4 times over the last few years whenever I visit Gdansk. It has a cozy interior and a traditionally decorated room in the back. This is always a safe bet where one will be generally happy with the food and not walk away hungry. Averaged-sized portions, large drinks and soups, decent desert. +++ decent traditional Polish... Party of 4, two ladies and two men. We had the Balkan frying pan and Farmer's plate. Both dishes were meant for two people, and we could not finish the plates. The food was very good, the waiters were nice and the pice was amaceing. For us Norwegians, we pay 1/4 of what we would do back home. Recommended!!

All the other people in the area recommending the place was the biggest reason why we tried it out. And it was an incredible experience. The young guy taking care of us giving honest and good recommendations about what to try. I'm speechless. We had so much to eat that we had to check in at the hotel for some... More
