We were a group of 16 persons who had made a reservation. The staff was nice. They were out of several dishes on The menu. The food we ordered were good. We will not visit this restaurant again.

I was looking for zurek and bigos. Unfortunately, bigos is winter food, but their Zurek was great. I opted for a mixed plate of pierogy -- which was a mistake with the Zurek as the zurek came with a side of really good potatoes -- I could only eat half my pierogi. I rate them 4 rather than 5 as... We were a group of 20 people and pre-ordered a set menu in advance: 3 starters and 3 main courses for each of us. Considering that the food was ordered well in advance and the restaurant had free choice of what to serve, we were hugely disappointed by the quality and quantity. The 3 starters were: - potato cake -... More

We were recently there with friends to enjoy Polih food. The array of choices is quite wide and the portions are big. The pancakes and the pierogi were spot on! But the best part was the cheesecake! We had two huge slices which we shared. The best I have had in Poland. Nice choice also of beers and lovely homemade... More

very enjoyable meal. fantastic value. would go again. We have eaten out in Gdansk for a few days and feel that this restaurant deserves a special mention. If you want nice tasty food and drink at a good price then this is a very good restaurant.

Wanted to try this place after various stumbling across various reviews. Glad we did!! Was a pleasant evening so we sat outside (not so good lighting). For drinks we ordered the homemade lemonade which was refreshing and I ordered a wheat beer from Amber Browar. We chose the Balkan sharing platter which contained various grilled meats on top of spicy... More

Only a 5 minute walk away from Bonum Hotel. This was the friendliest, cleanest, good value for money eating place! Shame we only discovered it on our last night! However, the staff were very helpful and the food was served hot and plentiful. We were given a sample of their home-made apple vodka upon paying the bill....it was like liquid... More
