Good restaurant in Gdansk

We had dinner here at the 16 of december. The food was very good and the staff nice. I had chicken with dumplings and cherry sauce and it was delicious. My friend had wild boar neck which he liked very much.

Food, service and quantity all excellent. Try the taster menu. Only one gripe, if you are on the higher tables it gets very warm.

We decided to treat ourselves on our last night and went to Goldwasser after having read several good reviews. We were seated in a romantic little booth just to ourselves which was a nice touch. The service was good if not overly friendly but the food was absolutely delicious. We had spicy hungarian soup and herrings to start, and then... More

It's an OK place. Really busy,so it'll take some time before youre food arrives... But the waiters are working hard, and you could take a glass og the real Goldwasser while waiting. Nice view in beautiful Gdansk!

Had a few zloty left over on our last day, so decided to splash out for lunch. It's a lot pricier here than we were used to in Gdansk, but still very reasonable by English standards. They claim to have the best steaks in town and we weren't disappointed. One Cowboy Steak, three T-Bones (huge!), a Wild Boar dish, two... More

Enjoyed a memorable dinner at Goldwasser, a beautifully decorated and cozy restaurant on the river. The chateaubriand and duck confit, and special Goldwasser vodka are highly recommended. The restaurant offers lots of intimate nooks for romantic dining, and the service is delightful. Book ahead.

we stopped in on our way along the canal. the interior is outstanding and we would love to try it when the candles are lit and with a few more people inside. however, we hope they close the door next time! it was freezing outside and the front door was wide open. we had to keep our hats and scarves... Goldwasser is right on the canal and could not have a more idyllic setting. I had a steak, which I have no complaints about - it was cooked exactly to order. The only downside of this place was the service. Overall, I found restuarant service in Poland a bit lacking, but after the waiter delivered my food, I literally did... More

Good value, very nice service and the food is simply delicious. Didn't try the steaks though so cannot confirm their claim. You can also buy there traditional Polish patee adn Goldwasser spirit.

We ate here twice, returning here for the last meal of our stay after having dined at various other establishments. Inside, the interior is a cosy red and gold, outside on the terrace overlooking the water a more summery style was adopted. The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Food was mostly typical Polish and what we ate was good:... More
