Delicious food for good price

Tekstylia offers very decent food for a reasonable price. Location in the old Gdansk area is outstanding. Always try to make reservation before as the restaurant usually is full.

Arrived in Gdansk, looking through review on Trip Advisor and saw this place, not really on a budget but this place seemed to tick all the right boxes, friendly staff, quick service, great prices and the food was absolutely awesome. Two people, 3 courses with a bottle of red wine and it barely scratched £30, normally you would sacrifice quality... More

Quick stop off in the old City, English menu and free wifi. Soups were delicious but give the Empanadas a miss, bland, dry and tasteless. Good service.

Testylia, after few years, has lost nothing of it quality. It is still one of the best restaurants in Gdańsk, usually crowded with tourists and locals. The menu is often refreshed, and you can always trust the quality. Definitely recommended.

I stopped by for lunch, which was very tasty, although my side of cabbage and bacon was cold. Nice selection of hot alcoholic drinks. Much cheaper than a lot of touristy old town restaurants.

It is almost a pleasure to visit this restaurant. Nice athmosphere and good food. Service could be better.

This place was our go-to restaurant as a couple in Nov 2015. So long as you stayed away from the top end of the menu, it was affordable, great atmosphere, sophisticated and still at most 80-90zl when we spoilt ourselves (about £7-8 each / 10 EUR). Great range of food and drinks, I had the gnocchi in pesto as our... More

Never in my life have I been in the restaurant that brings the main course, when I'm still on a half way with my soup. No apologizes or nothing, just leaves the foods in table. The food was good though.

The place looked quite busy so we decided to go in. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. I got the Garlic prawns to start and they were delicious. The main was salmon with Caesar salad, again cooked to perfection for me. Desert was what I can only describe as a Polish version of Eaton Mess and was as good as... More

Fab 'herbal omelette'. Looked like a pizza with tomatoes mozzarella and pesto on the omelette. Delicious. Good choice breakfasts, teas and coffees and a good lunch/dinner menu too it a pleasant environment. Attentive staff.
