What a cool bistro :) it is located in nice area of the city (one of the main street in old town). They serve good home made food - typical polish dishes. You can eat well and it is quite big portion for good price. You can also find something else like pizza, pasta. After 7 pm 50% off. I recommend this place, even though it is rather small so you might have some troubles to find a table.

Nice restaurant and good food

We liked the restaurant and you could have nice dinner even at 10 pm on Monday evening. The waitress was helpful and the atmosphere was cosy. There were some incredients that were missing that evening so there were some appetizers and main courses one could not order. You could pay with credit... read more

This place has the main area on the second floor. First floor is mostly reception. Very popular and busy so I suggest booking in advance. We've had fish and pasta. Both very nice. Small selection of wines but prices were low and wines very well selected. Very good service and surroundings.

The food here was really good, and not too expensive since it was located on one of the quieter streets in old town. The Pina Colada was good. cool furnishings in an old building with nice windows. As for a table on the second floor with window.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist and it didn't fail to impress. From the quality of the service to the portion of food it was just flawless. Service was quick and helpful since Im not polish, the quality of the food was amazing and the portions more than sufficient. Great decoration and background music. We amply enjoyed our... More

We chose thisplace for dinner on our second night in Gdansk because it looked lively and the decor was good. Unfortunately nothing else about the place was satisfactory. We waited ages to be served once we had been seated and then the waitress brought me the wrong main course, so by the time I got to eat my husband and... More

Kos used to be a nice bistro some time ago, before the redecoration. Unfortunately after the place got nice, clean and shiny the food got much worse than before. I can also complain on the staff, during our visit we received only three dishes out of four ...

First time visited KOS in March 2014 and was as good as this year. We walked here for our breakfast most mornings as everything was served so fresh, appetizing and delicious. Homemade jam was a deal breaker. After very filling and delicious breakie we returned for a dinner... " Sznycel" breaded pork steak, new potato and Mizeria which is cucumber salad.... More

There are no shortage of polish restaurants in Gdansk and occasionally it can be potluck with price, menu & staff. However; a local barman offered KOS as a good example of a quietly undiscovered quality Polish restaurant. He wasn't wrong and the Rye Soup with sausage served in bread was superb and it doesn't come more authentic than that!! Visit... More

It was quite busy when we went to eat at Kos but we where served fast and friendly. The food was good. The only drawback was the little choice in desserts. When we got the check we almost felt like we've robbed the place, very good value for money

We had our first meal in Gdansk here- and we came back for drinks the night after. Really great place! It looks anonymous from outside, but when you step in and go upstairs its buzzing of people, great and warm atmosphere. A great variety of drinks and wine, the food was not so special in my opinion, but I know... More
