What a cool bistro :) it is located in nice area of the city (one of the main street in old town). They serve good home made food - typical polish dishes. You can eat well and it is quite big portion for good price. You can also find something else like pizza, pasta. After 7 pm 50% off. I recommend this place, even though it is rather small so you might have some troubles to find a table.

Good wholesome regional food

There are no shortage of polish restaurants in Gdansk and occasionally it can be potluck with price, menu & staff. However; a local barman offered KOS as a good example of a quietly undiscovered quality Polish restaurant. He wasn't wrong and the Rye Soup with sausage served in bread was superb and... read more

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist and it didn't fail to impress. From the quality of the service to the portion of food it was just flawless. Service was quick and helpful since Im not polish, the quality of the food was amazing and the portions more than sufficient. Great decoration and background music. We amply enjoyed our... More

We chose thisplace for dinner on our second night in Gdansk because it looked lively and the decor was good. Unfortunately nothing else about the place was satisfactory. We waited ages to be served once we had been seated and then the waitress brought me the wrong main course, so by the time I got to eat my husband and... More

Kos used to be a nice bistro some time ago, before the redecoration. Unfortunately after the place got nice, clean and shiny the food got much worse than before. I can also complain on the staff, during our visit we received only three dishes out of four ...

First time visited KOS in March 2014 and was as good as this year. We walked here for our breakfast most mornings as everything was served so fresh, appetizing and delicious. Homemade jam was a deal breaker. After very filling and delicious breakie we returned for a dinner... " Sznycel" breaded pork steak, new potato and Mizeria which is cucumber salad.... More

It was quite busy when we went to eat at Kos but we where served fast and friendly. The food was good. The only drawback was the little choice in desserts. When we got the check we almost felt like we've robbed the place, very good value for money

We had our first meal in Gdansk here- and we came back for drinks the night after. Really great place! It looks anonymous from outside, but when you step in and go upstairs its buzzing of people, great and warm atmosphere. A great variety of drinks and wine, the food was not so special in my opinion, but I know... More

Me and my friends went to KOS bistro on two occasions. We loved it. The food is great, staff friendly and we really liked the modern decor of the place. Looks amazingly clean! First time we went for breakfast but way after breakfast serving time. It wasn't a problem at all. We were served delicious scramble eggs with sausages, fresh... More

Enjoyed an evening meal at KOS last night. Incredible food, lovely setting and the waitresses were pleasant. Would highly recommend the Pistachio and Camembert starter. We were very impressed with the whole service. Seems to be used by the locals which is a testament to how fantastic this place with amongst so many other restaurants on Piwny.

Here is a restaurant we often visit with friends with kids. Great location, right in the old town. Tasty food and quite cheap as for the quality of the meals. The menu is changing with the seasons so you'll get seasonal products such as wild mushrooms, fresh fruits and veggies, etc...The staff is very nice and helpful. The mega plus?... More
