Thanks to the previous positive reviews here on Tripadvisor we came here for our last meal in Brno. As it was Saturday night, we booked a table for two in advance. The food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend tried all their beers except one and he liked them all very much. They have lots of local homemade dishes to choose... More

Their own beers are amazing are all worth a taste. Main reason to visit this establishment. Serves basic CZ food with absolutely no surprises. Meat dishes are the best bet, like ribs and pork knee. Service varies a lot and you never know what you'll encounter. Smoking inside is allowed.

The beer is nice and interesting place since it is a microbrewery. We were in the non-smoking section and were the only ones ordering dinner. Neither of us thought the food was very good. Go for the beer, but not for the food.

Well, we wouldn't have tried the "smoked pork knee" if it hadn't been for the waiter, who insisted that my wife and I order different things, but I'm glad we did. Pegas provided one of the best meals we had in Brno. The menu is varied and ripe with good choices. The beer was great. Try Pegas when you are... More

A buzzing old brasserie/kneipe, which has accommodation too. Typically Czech bar with a multitude of beer glasses piled up in readiness. Allegedly "touristy", but the evening I went everyone (apart from me, and a German guy) seemed to be speaking Czech. Brno doesn't seem to be on the mass tourist map yet. It was very busy but a very helpful... More

The food here was great. We ate on the night we arrived and due to wet weather, we ate here again on our last night (we stayed at the attached hotel). Quick service and great food. If they stopped the smoking inside, this place would be better!!!!

We just ate here for a second time on a transit stop in Brno and it was every bit as good as last time 6 years ago. Strangely we ended up sitting at the very same table in the non-smoking part of the beer hall. I am sure there is better traditional Czech food and beer elsewhere in Brno but... More

nice and Cousy place in the center of Brno . for people that want to try a home made beer that's your place. the beer sausages are more than delicious price is quite reasonable service is perfect someone might find it a bit noisy but it's a pub and that's how it's supposed to be ! highly recommend

I used to advise my friends to come here to experience traditional "czech hospoda" but I regret it. Beer is great, cuisine is traditional czech and above average, but service and crew is very poor. They're rude and not smiling at all.

At pegas you won´t be disappointed. Beer is own drafted, good quality compared to commercial ones from other pubs. Food is good. I tried the pork ribs, zebra in czech, and it was not the best as I could see from others eating it many previous time I was there, however it wasnt that bad. Service is ok, waiters speak... More
