Went there with colleagues (large group) for dinner. Service was excellent, always smiling and friendly. Did not blink when we asked if it was possible to split the bill. Food and beer really good too. Quite cheap as well.

I had one dinner and one lunch during a weekend. I have tried different dishes, soups and main course with meat and all was really good and tasty. Very good beers.

Lots of large open tables filled with locals. Excellent beer. I've heard it's usually crowded, but if you ask at the bar, they will seat you.

We came for a late lunch, we had typical Czech food, some from the main menu which is displayed on a big card on the table and some from the usual menu you get from the waiter. "Svickova" was excellent with soft meat and soft "fluffy" dumplings, my husband had some pork with spinach in a blue cheese sauce which... More

We have tried something considered traditional Czeck dishes: Bohemian damplings and potato pancakes. Both were served within 3 minutes. They looked awful, but we tried anyway. The damplings were still wrapped in paper and they tasted like they were made from papar pulp - bland, chewy, growing in your mouth. But the real shocker were the pancakes: stinking old worn... This is a typical czech place, next to the main square of Brno, where you can eat the most typical czech food (goulash and others). It is not very expensive: soup+goulash+beer(0.5L) less than 200czk (8eur). One of the best places in the city if you want to feel the real czech spirit. Good luck with the digestion!

I very much enjoyed my lunch meal at Pegas. Very good local cuisine, affordable prices and great beer. The service was excellent. If you come to Brno, you need to check out this place. Menus are also in English, which usually is not a good sign, but in this case, the rule didn't apply, our meal was excellent.

A nice German style beer hall that produce all their own beer in house, they also do food although we didnt try it. Certainly worth a stop for the beer lover
