My partner and I had the wild boar, which was dry, like chewing on paper tissues. They served us the wrong plate at first, too. Even so, we thought we would leave a tip. Paying by card, the manager had to appear and right from the start he was unfriendly at best. He spoke no English (or refused to do... More

I love the food! It is slightly more expensive than others in city but the quantity of the food is much ore as well. The place is great and service was good too when I went. I do recommend reservation on weekends.

We had lunch there on a cold winter day and we were not disappointed. We had a meat platter (almost 1 kg of meat !) and goulash, both excellent. The service was not very quick, but we enjoyed excellent beer while waiting. The staff was friendly and spoke some English

Stopkova in Brno is a surprise, you enter thinking it's a typical low level place, then you taste the first beer and you understand the jurney is starting, every food you take is prepared carefully and taste at top level, czech-oriented, even the fry stuff is light and pleasant. Suggested.

We were there last week with a group. We had a reserved seat at the second stair, but it was free place. I drank Pilsner Urquell and ate local czezh soup and main course and i ate only the half of the desert. Really big and tasted food.

We went to this restaurant with business colleagues. Service was very good. Waiters kept the table ful of drinks and the food service was very prompt. Food quality not bad, definately a local flavour ie rough cuts of meat and vegetables but tastey.

We had heard a lot about this restaurant and everybody recommended it as a great specimen of Czech cuisine and beer. We were delighted to see that they were right! It was very crowded though despite the fact that it was Tuesday afternoon (obviously the day was irrelevant!). We found a table on the first floor (it's for non smokers)... More

This pub/ restaurant in the heart of the old town of Brno is a typical Czech type of place. Big tasty beers and a typical tasty, local cuisine. If you know the KOLKOVNA in Prague, this belongs to the group and follows the same concept. The food is not gourmet, but a solid, fresh and classic choice. The interior is... More
