I like the atmosphere and the food there. My favorite dishes are duck leg and rabbit with onios. Recommended!

We were there last week with a group. We had a reserved seat at the second stair, but it was free place. I drank Pilsner Urquell and ate local czezh soup and main course and i ate only the half of the desert. Really big and tasted food.

We went to this restaurant with business colleagues. Service was very good. Waiters kept the table ful of drinks and the food service was very prompt. Food quality not bad, definately a local flavour ie rough cuts of meat and vegetables but tastey.

We had heard a lot about this restaurant and everybody recommended it as a great specimen of Czech cuisine and beer. We were delighted to see that they were right! It was very crowded though despite the fact that it was Tuesday afternoon (obviously the day was irrelevant!). We found a table on the first floor (it's for non smokers)... More

This pub/ restaurant in the heart of the old town of Brno is a typical Czech type of place. Big tasty beers and a typical tasty, local cuisine. If you know the KOLKOVNA in Prague, this belongs to the group and follows the same concept. The food is not gourmet, but a solid, fresh and classic choice. The interior is... More

This is a classic and very nice looking pub in the center of Brno. It is a little bit of a tourist trap but the atmosphere is not bad, the beer is excellent and food is good.

We have been here each visit to Brno, 4 times. My husband likes the special farmers meal in foil and I love the goulash soup and the baked goat cheese salad with raspberry dressing. Good beer, friendly staff, very, very popular. Upstairs is non-smoking.

Very nice place, friendly staff, good authentic food and beer! Lots of locals which speaks to itself. All in all - very nice, though a bit noisy.

Full of locals who rarely read the menu but order from memory or ask for the daily lunchtime special soup and main dish. Gulaş soup starter was delicious with home baked bread roll, and main course of "Moravian Sparrow" was very "Eastern bloc"-ish, being wonderfully traditional roast pork with red and white cabbage, onions and bread and bacon dumplings. Be... More
