We were at a middle group. The restaurant is big, and has a smoking area. We stayed the second stair. The waitress was nice and fast. The food was good and local and it was a beer shop and a brewery next the entrance.

Good and inexpensive food and beer (including Chech specialities), lots of autdoor tables, friendly staff, a place for children to play (a big trampoline). Close to trams and buses. Really worth visiting.

I took my friend here when she was visiting me because she wanted to try something which is "typically Czech". It turned out to be a good choice - the place has quite a nice beer-garden atmosphere (we were sitting on the terrace, I don't know about the places inside), not-overly-polite, brisk-and-casual service (which is more or less fine with... Food and beer was very good, going to visit again if possible. And prices are low, for such a delicious meal (we tried local cheese, traditional soup, steak and beer). Portions are quite big for women! Big hall inside, some places outside. During my visit we see only two waiters, so we had to wait a little, but hope with... More

This restaurant owes it's name, beer served and the overall atmosphere to the nearby brewery, where Starobrno is brewed. The place has decent traditional food, that goes well with beer. The prices are rather low and the service is decent. Would visit again if nearby

They have a good kitchen, but the beer is like every second brand from Heineken group. Its not bad, but nothing to remember.

I can't say enough about this restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing, prices are great, service is great, and it's just a cozy restaurant inside the Starobrno brewery! They also have menus in English, and the waiters speak English well. I go there quite often and take any visitors there.

I´ve been in the Czech Republic for only two weeks. However the experience was amazing. Not only we travelled across the country and visited many interesting places, e.g. castles, monuments etc., but we also had the opportunity to visit many restaurants, pubs and clubs. One of the best restaurants in the South Moravian region is the restaurant called Pivovarská pivnice.... More

What can you ask for more. Fresh beer and local "home cooked" dishes. Very affordable, beer about $2 1/2 liter and a dinner below $20.

Title says it all. The peasoup, the tartar steak, the liver (if you like that kind of thing), the steak, the ribs, the beer: all great! Just the chicken wrap was a bit dry. Service was friendly enough, but it was sometimes tricky to get the waitress's attention. Ambience is also great, with so many people there. The biggest minor... More
