GREAT SERVICE - OKAY FOOD

The real driver of the rating was the wonderful service we received. On a very busy Friday night the owner managed to squeeze us in and the result was a great evening of good food and atmosphere. One has to know where to go to find this place as you will not stumble upon it by accident; however... read more

This restaurant is in a side street, a bit away from the typical Prague tourist sites, but still very much in the city center. After going down a set of stairs, you come into the medieval themed restaurant in the basement. The food was decent and was billed as typically Czech. Service was fast. Overall, the experience felt a bit... More

You enter U Sadlu by going down a few flights of stairs into a basement feeling restaurant. Far from feeling dull, it added a bunch to the atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was also exceptional. We enjoyed the heck out of our visit and meal.

Very local place, great garlic soup and chicken broth. Pity the waitress seemed very disinterested (maybe because we only spoke English). If you can get over the service, its a nice local place to try.

But what quality food and service. These hidden gems are amazing. Our tour leader Agata organised a dinner which when we saw the outside were a bit dubious about what was in store but once we had descended into the bowels of the restaurant we were quite relieved. Very much in the vein of Dirty Dick's minus the MC and... More

This place has a nice, traditional interior design that makes you feel like you just landed in the middle ages. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. You get a small bowl of lard as a started on the house (where else are you going to get that?!), they have some interesting traditional platters with different kinds of... More

The food was good and not expensive. The staff was friendly. Will come back as soon as I have the chance. The medieval decoration is also really interesting.

This is so amazing restaurant. I was there with my wife when we were in Prague. The food was tasty and waitress were also likeable. I had Leg of rabbit in cream sauce, white-bread dumplings. And my wife had Chicken in Victorian style in quadruple rating, with garlic, cheese and ham and I haven't got any complaint. Environment acts very... More
