The worst restaurant in Prag that we tried over 9 restaurants. As our first meal there, we had quite good expectations. But,firstly they use different menus for tourists and for local people. Well, maybe local people asked for daily or weekly menu but these things never showed up in front of us.Service is much faster for local than tourists, is it because... More

Before we went to prague we readed some of the recommended restaurants and U Sadlu was one of them. We we're really excited to visit this restaurant, because of the good comments. When we walked in they didn't even welcome us. We had a very unpleasend spot cause we didn't see anything. It was a kind of hidden spot. The... More

I was here on recommendation from a hotel. The food was traditional, good, draft beer also. The price was a bit higher than expected. The place looks like a medieval dungeon, when you go to the toilet and wait sensors to turn on the lights makes you feel creepy, and that is the reason for three.

This place should actually deserve 2 and a half star, two is not enough and 3 is somehow too much. We were two people, seated first in smoking section, but when we asked to be replaced there was a non-smoking section behind the corner. The background music was such a stupid contemporary pop that didn't at all suit the medieval... More

We went into this place a bit skeptical b/c of the bad reviews for service, but it wasn't that bad! Look the guy was less than friendly, and we asked for soup, he literally told us NO, wait until you know everything you want and I'll bring it to you. Different cultures, different experiences, in Amsterdam you can bring your... More

I'm surprised at the recent poor reviews. We dined there because the menu looked good and the cellar setting was atmospheric. Excellent, friendly service. Very good rabbit and venison, well seasoned. Also lovely to have complimentary bread and goose schmaltz with our beer. I would go back.

This restaurant is just another trap for tourists, where they try to charge you 10% additional fee (for "Service") for bad food, not made with fresh ingredients and for a price which is already high compared to typical Czech restaurants.

Huge choice on the menu. I chose Duck &there was plenty of it but it was rather dry. Had it been cooked beforehand & left to dry out ?
