GOOD QUALITY FOOD AND SERVICE

Well worth a visit. The restaurant invokes a medieval spirit and the décor matches. Service was excellent, our waitress was brilliant. The entrance to this restaurant could put some people off. You have to walk through a corridor and then through a door and down lots of steps. Once inside though its very nice. Plenty atmosphere, good beers, nice food and cheap by British standards. Worth a visit!

A very nice small place, serving a good choice of Czec food, soups to meats, good quality/price ratio, cozy environment, very pleasant indeed, SUGGESTED.

I found this place through online reviews. The setting was very unique and exciting (medieval, dungeon style). Friendly staff! We had bread with (I think) animal grease instead of butter; I liked it but my wife didn't. But the waiter didn't explain at all what it was. We both ordered steak medium-rare, but we both got medium. However, the meat... More

The place looks really nice, the food and wine was ok, but the behaviour of the staff was terrible. We went there to the only (seemed to be) free table and got seated. One hour after the waitress came and literally told us to go "upstairs", because the table was reserved although there wasn't any sign of it. "Upstairs" eventually... More

After recommendation from our hotel the 8 of us walked into the medeivial style cellars of U Sadlu restaurant and easily got a table (sunday night at 18:00). We had a wellcooked, welltasting and enourmus meal for very little Money. The service wasn't the fastest but classically discreet and correct. When one of us suggested a sideorder that the waiter... We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, We wanted to try some real Czech food and thats exactly what we had here and it was fabulous. The surroundings were great and we ate there more than once during our short break in Prague. We would definately recommend U Sadlu.

Really nice in a cave. Nice decorations, really good food. Staff not so friendly but I'm convinced it is because they don't speak English very good. But they tried. We went there for a late lunch and not too many people there so it was really nice.
