Good food, reasonable price.

Went for dinner with my wife in one of our three nights in Prague. Stayed next door at Botel Matylda. Good food. Lots of choices. Great ambience. Friendly staff. Nice view of the river.

The romance was a bit wasted as I was with a work colleague but it was a beautiful boat, lovely inside with fantastic views across the water and of the lit up buildings all around. The service was outstanding, very polite, friendly and attentive and the food was very good. A bit pricier than a lot of other restaurants in... More

This is the second time I end up in this lovely restaurant. I enjoy the towns view from the river. The food is really well prepared the wine list is very respectable and the music compilation is fantastically random. Definitely worth a visit!!

Beautiful setting and well appointed restaurant. Service is top notch but not overly obtrusive. Great menu and help in choosing by our waiter. Wonderful shrimps in wine sauce to start (1/2 portion of main course) and a goats cheese/beetroot salad was excellent. Mains good, we had a chicken risotto and veal. Too full for dessert! Wines are pricey but a... More

We stayed at the hotel matylda for three nights. The room we were in was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable for me...husband slept against the wall as the bed butted upto the wall. Despite this he slept very well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Making phone calls to arrange our return transfer for us. The... More

I had walked passed this restaurant many times and always thought how nice it looked. It didn't disappoint . The service was excellent, as was the food and service was prompt. The restaurant was busy and there were 6 in our party but the service was excellent, as were the views. I would definitely visit again.

We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant as we walked along the Vltava river. We were instantly impressed by the standard of the waiting staff who were extremely friendly and highly professional. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
