While the location and food were on point, the service left a lot to be desired. It took us 30 minutes to receive any drinks and then it was an additional 45 minute wait until our food was served. Once we received the food it was very tasty and of good quality. However, the real shock came upon settling the... More

We went there twice every day. In the morning to have a nice coffee and desserts. Every evening we were there to have some snacks, beer, coffee or desert. When we came back the second time staff recognised us and welcomed. Food is great, staff very professional and cosy atmosphere.

Well appointed boat restaurant situated next to the Dancing Building. Service was attentive and helpful. Wine list is huge but try the Czech Merlot 2011 (v. Good). Food was great and prices very reasonable. Cannot fault it.

Friendly staff, good food, great view across the river. Celebrated my partner's 40th here. He enjoyed it so much we went back the next night.

The food and service were superb. The position on the water was brilliant and watching the sun go down over the hills was magical.

The restaurant was a perfect place to have lunch when we arrived in Prague. The sun was shining and we had lunch next to the river - spectacular views.

Located across the street from the "Fred and Ginger" dancing towers, this restaurant-on-a-boat offers a pleasant dining atmosphere. But there are a limited number of tables overlooking the water, so if you want one of them you would be well advised to make a reservation in advance. The salmon soup was delicious, and the (beef) carpaccio was excellent. The seafood... More

A little pricey, but the waiters are gracious and are willing to help you navigate through the menu, to help you with your choice.

I think the view of the castle etc at night is better from... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
